To My Readers:
I decided to do an author's note to tell you guys a little bit about the story behind Destiny.
It starts with the Inheritance Cycle, which at the time had only three books, all of which I'd read and loved. However, the fourth book still hadn't come out yet. I waited and waited, and finally got to the point where I decided to create my own alternative ending. I added characters, changed a few points in the original storyline, and started writing. Inheritance came out before I finished my novel, but I'm still decided to keep writing it the way I envisioned it to be.
When I first started, I didn't plan for Destiny to be read by anyone besides me (and maybe my family). After all, it was a fanfiction, so it wasn't as though I could ever publish it or anything. But then, I found Wattpad, and discovered that there was indeed a way for me to let others read my work. Now, it's not the best of my stories since I began writing this in middle school; however, I plan to do an extensive rewrite after I finish the fifth volume and bind it all together into one amazing book.
Until then, enjoy this first volume of Destiny. I want to thank you guys for taking the time to read it, and I really do hope you enjoy Volume I: Shur'tugalar. You guys rock, and without readers like you, this book wouldn't be where it is today. (:)
