3/14/14:
Hey, guys!
So, I know you all are freaking out about what happens next. Well, I'll tell you what happens next - volume two! Except, it doesn't happen next next.
First, I'm going to start posting Niaomi: The Journey. Then, while writing that, I'll be finishing Sunset for all my Twilight fans. But after that's done and Niaomi is halfway to completion, I will post the first part of Destiny (Volume II: Indlvarn)!
This last section will be updated so that the external link will lead right to it once it's been posted, but for now, check out the picture to the up above to see the awesome cover (which is obviously Eragon's eye - sorry, Nathan fans x3) and below for the summary of what's to happen in this explosive volume.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Eragon has gained new comrades in the five Riders of Alalëa, but Galbatorix has managed to find the Rider for the last dragon egg. Now, as the Varden and their allies march forward, dragons will meet in an epic battle for their lives and for their freedom...
When Niaomi, Nathan, Nicholas, Renata, and Rosaminda arrived at the Varden, everything changed. Nasuada and Arya gained three new family members, and Eragon five new comrades. But skill and fortitude are not the only assets these new Riders brought with them; the Seer's unique powers offer them an insight to their enemies' schemes.
However, the opposition's forces have also grown, for the last dragon egg has hatched. Even worse, its Rider also shares Eragon's blood. Now both of his half-siblings, pawns to the king, must be freed...or must be slain. And though the gods are on their side, their intervention can only go so far.
That leaves little time for romance, and yet Niaomi's allure is quickly wearing away Eragon's resistance. Just as his feelings begin to shift, the elf he'd offered his heart to long ago finally starts showing interest - or so it seems. Now, the Leader finds himself caught between two beautiful women in a time of war, and Eragon must make a decision before the strife leads them all to disaster.
With growing forces, developing romances, and bloody conflicts, this second volume "Indlvarn" continues the tale as the Riders and their allies strive to free the land from the tyrannical king. The consequences are higher than ever before, and no one can afford to lose this war. Yet only one side can claim the victory - so, the question remains: which will it be?

Sounds awesome, doesn't it? Don't blow a lid since it's not coming right away; you'll still get your Destiny fix with it's prequel Niaomi along with The Chronicles of Alagaësia, a series of short stories set in the realm of the Inheritance Cycle that will - for now - tell tales of what happened before Destiny and even Eragon began. Both have already been posted, so enjoy! (:)
Until the next story,

Update 3/14/15: Exactly one year after I finished the first volume, Destiny (Volume II: Indlvarn) is here; click the external link at the bottom and continue the tale! \(^v^)/
