THOMAS LOWERED HIMSELF to the ground from the vent, before Aris came down as well. Thomas looked around and walked down the hall looking for anyone who would catch them.
After he knew nobody was around he took the card and swiped it, opening the door
Thomas and Aris entered the room and turned to the windows to see many tubes with something in them. It wasn't clear what it was. They went though the next set of doors and what Thomas saw was terrifying. Bodies of people who he'd assumed been called earlier had wires going into their heads.
"What the hell?"
There were so many attached to breathing machines on their mouthes. Something was being taken from them.
A girl caught Thomas eye "Teresa?" He moved the girls hair from her face and revealed it was not Teresa. He sighed
"That's Rachel" Aris said "they took her the first night. I told her it was gonna be okay" Aris said sadly before the door clicked. That meant someone was coming
Thomas and Aris both panicked to hide behind the nearest pole or block near them. Thomas pressed his back up against a metal pillar
"You sure this can't wait?" Janson asked as Thomas moved as the voices got closer "She was very specific sir. She wanted to speak with you personally" "If I don't have enough to deal with" Janson said
"Just, bare with me. There might be some interference from the storm" "It's good enough just make the connection"
Thomas watched as a screen popped up. A lady with blonde hair sat a desk
"Good evening, Dr Paige" Janson spoke clearly "lovely to see you again, although I wasn't quite expecting to hear from you so soon"
"Change of plans Janson" Ava Paige said "I'll be arriving a little sooner than expected. First thing tomorrow"
"Oh, well, we'll be delighted to have you. I think you'll be pleased with the progress we've made. As you can see the results have been, extremely promising" two brain diagrams showed in the corner of the scream where Janson pointed to "whatever it is that you've been doing to them in there... it's working"
