"Please, Hyungsik!" you run after the little boy, but he's way too fast for you. "Come back here!"
Hyungsik, your youngest student, is a sweetheart and a terror all at once. You didn't have a choice but to watch the four year old boy after school, since his father called in this morning to let you know that his son's transport shuttle would not pick him up after school. Mr. Kim had politely asked you to stay a little longer with his son, so that he could pick Hyungsik up himself as soon as he's done with a meeting.
You didn't mind, but you could barely keep up with Hyungsik's energy.
He darts around the red and blue slide, and you move fast to catch him just in time, scooping his little body up as you attack him with kisses and tickles to his sides. He laughs and wriggles in your arms, and when you finally stop attacking him, he wraps his tiny arms around your neck and gives a small peck to your cheek. You brush his long hair from his eyes.
"You need a haircut, Hyungsik." you laugh.
"Yes, I agree." a husky male voice from behind you replies. You turn with the child still in your arms, and for a second you forget that you need to breathe.
His immense height shades you from the sun, the warmth lending a glow around his figure, making him appear like an angel before your eyes. You blink a few times, and notice how the silver of his hair shines like polished metal under the sun, parted and slicked back from his face. His gorgeous full lips are curved into a beaming smile, deep dimples on display. He's dressed casually, a tight fitting black t-shirt under a leather jacket, mildly torn jeans hugging strong legs which seemed to stretch a mile. You have to strain your neck to look into his face, that's how tall he is.
Hyungsik turns and immediately stretches his arms up for the man. The angel-like giant takes him, kissing his cheek before he speaks again.
"I hope he hasn't been a rascal." the man chuckles.
Slightly still out of breath, you reply with a smile, "No, of course not." you reach out and fluff the boy's hair, "Hyungsik is my favourite student." you wink at the little boy, who gets shy and hides his head in his father's jacket.
"Ah, teacher's pet, huh?" he looks at his son. "Thank you, seonsaengnim." he extends a hand to you.
"Please, call me Y/N, Mr. Kim." you say as you place your hand in his much larger one.
"You can call me Namjoon." he smiles back at you. His hand is warm and soft as he shakes yours.
"No, you're appa!" Hyungsik whines.
Namjoon chuckles again, hooking the little boy on his hip.
"And appa thinks you deserve a treat."
"Really?" Hyungsik's eyes sparkle with excitement.
Namjoon nods.
"Ice-cream?" He holds up his hand, and his son high-fives him, nodding excitedly.
"Why don't you ask seonsaengnim if she'd like to join us?"
"Oh, no. I wouldn't want to intrude." you say sheepishly.
" Please ?" Hyungsik turns to you with doe, pleading eyes, pouting with his small lips. Side by side, you can see he looks just like his father, his facial features almost identical.
"Please? Think of it as a 'thank you' gesture for watching Hyungsik longer." his eyes mirror his son's own pleading ones.
"Okay, but only because my best student insists. Let me grab my stuff."
After packing your car with all the homework files you needed to assemble later, you take a stroll with Namjoon and Hyungsik down the road to where an ice-cream truck is parked on the pavement. He orders two vanilla cones and a mint chocolate-chip for you, to which he shows disgust.
