"Jin?!" you bark, anger taking over. "Where were you? You didn't call back. I- I-"
You step forward and without thinking, pound at his chest with your tiny fists, a wretched cry ripping through you. He stands cemented, allowing you to let your frustration pour at his chest.
"I needed you goddamnit!" you bellow as your fists continue pounding him.
"Y/N." he says again, but you ignore him.
"Y/N!" Jin's stern voice doesn't stop you.
He throws the umbrella behind him, permitting the rain to wash over you both. His checkered brown jacket soaks the pitter-patter of the rain, and he grabs your wrists to stop you, holding them firmly against his chest.
"Look at me!" he demands, but you sob your heart out looking down. "Y/N, look at me!"
You look up, coming face to face with his firm expression. Tears lending the only hint that he was hurting to see you break apart. Shards of pain stab your heart as you feel the inclining force of what pulled you towards him from the very beginning.
You loved him . You love Jin. You never felt the magnetic pull with Yoongi, that desire to eternally shower him with every ounce of passion you could summon just to show him how you felt. As you stand in the pouring rain after physically trying to hurt him, you know that's as far as you could ever go to make him feel pain.. He couldn't hurt you, and you would rather die than to hurt him.
But you couldn't admit it. The last time you spoke the words - look where it got you. No. What if you were wrong, and once again said those three words, loosely, carelessly? You would only end up hurting yourself.
You can see it written clearly in his eyes. Even with the curtain of soft flowing rain in front of his face, you see a love you've never seen before.
You surrender, leaning your forehead on his chest.
Loosening the grip on your wrists, his hands slide down your sides and he pulls you into him, bending his head to conquer your lips.
It's almost as if your dreams come true at that moment. Kissing the person you're in love with, out in the rain. Zoning in on how perfect his plump lips feel on yours, how your bodies react to every brush of warm breath, even when you come up for air, the surrounding coldness of your drenched clothes clinging to you, unable to rob you from the heat of the moment. Your heels leave the ground as you're elevated by his strong hands lifting your waist, until you're standing on your tiptoes. Your arms snake around his neck, oblivious to the pouring rain soaking you both. Your fingers weave through his damp hair, your heads tilted as you kiss feverishly.
Tears stream down your face; only this time, they're tears of adoration, joy, love .
You break the kiss first, leaning your forehead on his.
"How did you find me?"
"You weren't home." Jin says raggedly, his voice unstable as he catches his breath, "And your phone was unreachable." he touches your cheek, his thumb attempting to wipe the wetness away. "I knew you'd be here. I just knew ." His brows connect in a frown. "I thought something happened. I thought I'd find you-"
You silence him with a finger on his lips, shaking your head.
"I would never."
"Promise?"
You seal the promise with a tender kiss, your lips dancing daintily on his. He maintains the softness, despite the hard outline of his bulge pressing firmly on your belly.
