The traffic light turns red, awarding you a few seconds to paint your lips whatever shade it is you found in your glove compartment. You're late for work, for the first time in your career.

Damn Jin and his insatiable hunger for you! You chuckle into the rearview mirror as you give your lips a smack to even out the lipstick.

It didn't matter how many nights you had spent together; not when every kiss, every caress, every stroke of his cock, felt like the first time. Neither the excitement, nor the pleasure, ever seemed to cease, even minutes after you'd both been sated. There just was no getting enough.

You were still nursing a mild cough from that night out on the bridge, and had to postpone finding a new attorney and setting your divorce in motion. You would have taken leave from school as well, had you not been swamped with work in preparation for the upcoming parent's meeting.

In a way, work was your scapegoat. The moment you showed signs of being ill, Jin had lost his mind. Of course, it didn't stop any displays of intimacy, but he warned you that if you didn't get better, he'd stay home and cater to your every need. It didn't sit well with you. You hated being made a fuss over.

So you braved the impending flu, and went to work anyway. Jin had to leave this morning for a case cross-country, and if you were completely honest, you needed the break from him. Your body was exhausted, and so was your mind. He hadn't spared you a moment to breathe, let alone collect your thoughts.

You spend most of the next few days with your head stuck between stacks of paperwork. You hear a knock on the door, signalling the arrival of the delivery man with your dinner. You take out your wallet and pull out some notes, when a business card falls out and drops to the floor. You pick up the card and read the name printed in bold, realising you had forgotten to call Namjoon that week. You were curious about his offer, and guessed that maybe he had a recommended read he was planning on giving to you. You make a mental note to call him, at least before the meeting next week.

You unpack the contents of your food package, sighing as you open up the carton of steaming hot noodles. You stab your chopsticks through the box, feeling your appetite die down. You wonder if Jin is back - he hadn't called you as often as you would have liked this weekend. You didn't want to feel this needy, but your feelings lately were spiralling into unknown territory.

You eat as much as you can stomach, just to keep your energy levels high enough to get through the rest of your work. If anyone ever said that being a kindergarten teacher was easy, definitely didn't do it in a foreign country, or under the same circumstances.

As soon as you're done, you scroll through the internet in search of a new legal advisor. You'd been so preoccupied, the only thing reminding you that you were still a married woman was the ring stuck on your finger. You come across a well-reviewed firm, and save the number to your contact list so you could set up a meeting first thing in the morning.

You're about to switch your phone off, when it rings. You almost squeal with excitement when his face pops up on the screen.

"Are you home?" he inquires coolly.

"Y-yes. Why?"

"Come outside."

Trying to contain your excitement, you jump off the couch, groaning as you realise you haven't showered yet. Whatever! Your man was here, and he'd seen you at your worst already - barefaced, tousled hair, morning breath.

You never felt so comfortable around Yoongi. When you were married, you made sure you were always presentable - at the first signs of his infidelity, you thought it was a product of your bland appearance. So you tried.
