Yoongi was late. A trait you still could not get used to. Punctuality was never his strong point, and you'd be damned if, for one second, you thought he could change. You're fuming when he pulls up to the school parking lot, seemingly unfazed, wearing a cool expression along with his signature orange tinted sunglasses.

It wasn't the only thing that annoyed you today. You had successfully rid yourself of the useless lawyer, and you needed a new one.

If that wasn't enough to get you on edge, Jin hadn't called back last night, and it's been bugging you ever since you woke up this morning. What happened last night? You had the urge to question Yoongi about it, but decide not to. You didn't need more conflict. Already, he suspected you and Jin. Adding more fuel to the fire would be detrimental to your own peace of mind.

You pull open the car door and dump your weight onto the seat as a show of your irritation.

"You're late." you state, annoyed.

"It's okay. I rescheduled with Dr. Gwan." He kicks the car into gear.

"That's not the point. I need to be back by 2."

Yoongi ignores you as he steps on the gas pedal. The stench of sweat and alcohol swirls the air. You glance at the back seat and notice a foil wrapper with the corner ripped open, shining in a corner amongst the two empty beer bottles rolling around on the car floor . You take a deep breath and look out of your window, wondering how many women had been here.

A whirlwind romance. One that proved too good to be true.

You remember the night you met Yoongi. You'd been out with your friends, when the handsome stranger couldn't take his eyes off you. He sat at the bar, downing his fourth drink for the night. You had been drinking too, and with confidence magnified by alcohol, you began to tease him with provocative dance moves you didn't even know you possessed.

The music had cut from an upbeat number to a slower song, and while everyone partnered with someone to dance with, you were heading back to your table. That's when he'd grabbed your arm and spun you into him. It wasn't long before swaying together, his lips seducing your neck, that the sweat and sexual attraction emanating from both of you had proven too difficult to ignore. In no time, you were out of the club and into a cab headed for the hotel he was staying at for his vacation.

That's the night you lost your virginity and your heart to Yoongi. Yoongi hated that he had to leave for home that evening. He begged you to go with him, but you explained that you couldn't; not with a month left before you graduated.

He left, but spent every night with you. From video calls and late texting, he made you believe that he loved you. Graduation day, and he'd been there. He said he wouldn't leave without you, and without parents to feed your initial qualms, you married him at the registry office and left.

His parents proved difficult. The idea of their eldest son marrying a foreigner was strange. You hit it off with Hoseok, and Jungkook liked you. In fact, Yoongi's younger brother seemed more fascinated with you.

You'd caught onto Yoongi's strange behaviour after the first few weeks. Three weeks in, and he suddenly needed to leave for some undisclosed business overseas. You noticed changes in him when he came back three days later. Gone was the loving man you'd given up everything for. The honeymoon phase disappeared before it really took off. He claimed to be too busy with work to actually go anywhere, and you'd resorted to find work that summer. It proved to be a daunting task; you had to take additional classes just to get familiar with the new language.

Then again, you had all the time in the world with your husband spending most nights away from home.

It wasn't until you had settled into your new job, that you started getting increasingly suspicious of your husband's antics. Sex had gone from passionate love making in the first few weeks, to just, sex. You tried hard to reignite the flames, coming home with goodies and sexy lingerie. But he was never in the mood to pay you any attention. You felt like a failure, and turned to Hoseok for advice. You didn't have a mother or sister to turn to, your friends eventually became nonexistent after your disappearing act. Hoseok helped you get closer to their mother, but even her advice proved fruitless. Nobody knew what had happened to Yoongi, he'd created a concrete barrier that nobody could pierce through.
