Aghui. A primordial evil force, a forgotten God. While her sisters and mother were praised for their kindness and love to the world, but Aghui was despised and eventually forgotten by the world for her cruel heart. She was a bedtime story told to kids to scare them, a superstition, a myth. She hated that, understandably, and vowed a revenge against all living creatures, who disrespected her. As a deity, Ma Go obviously didn't like her behavior, but as a mother, she tried to help her change, but to no avail.
When she finally harmed a living creature, she stood against everything Ma Go stood for, thus Ma Go had no choice but to banish Aghui to the cold depths of universe, chained and bound, for eternity. Ma Go wept seeing her daughter turn to dark like this, but there was nothing she could do.
Aghui had an eternity to devise a plot for revenge. The love she had for mother and sisters are long gone, now replaced with spite. As the humanity prospered in the world, evil grew inside them. The horrors committed by them were fuel to the evil God, giving her strength to break the chains around her, and set herself free. Aghui realized the power flowing inside her. She clenched her fists, and with a turn of her hand, she broke the cuffs in to pieces. The chain strangling her neck burst and shattered like a cold glass. Aghui fell on the cold floor with a loud thud. She looked around, and when she realized what was happening, her evil eyes twinkled.

She looked at the hands that were shackled until a moment ago, the red bruises around her wrist. Her long, black hair danced around her as she ran her fingers through it. With a snap of her fingers, a green light emerged from her heart, slowly engulfing her.
When the light went out, her hair had arranged itself in to a long braid, a golden crown sitting on top of her head. Her lips were painted red, she slowly touched them with her long fingers. She now wore a green dress, which eerily shone. An upgrade from her rags, she thought. Her eyes were darker, now filled with vengeance.
"Ma Go.." She whispered menacingly, like a snake. "Your daughter is coming home. Let's play together like old times, mother."
Aghui closed her eyes, bobbing her head ever so slowly. A smile formed on her lips, satisfied by what she saw.
"I see you still haven't stopped the guest house business, have you mother?" She chuckled, turning around.
"Maybe I should pay a visit to your pet soon. What's his name?"
" Ah.. Kim Do Hwan." She cackled, whose sounds echoing around her former prison.

Yi Sook and Ae Ra were having breakfast at Ae Ra's house. Ae Ra convinced Yi Sook to stay with her saying she was scared, and Yi Sook agreed because he was too. They didn't sleep a wink, Ae Ra was tossing and turning in her room while Yi Sook just stared at the ceiling the whole night. Ae Ra noticed his puffy eyes in the morning and giggled.
"You too?" She said, pointing at her own eyes. Yi Sook laughed.
"Yep. Too much thinking."
They sat down and ate slowly in silence. Yi Sook could tell Ae Ra was thinking hard.
"Hello? Earth to Ae Ra?" He waved her hands at her. Ae Ra jolted up, and smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry.. What were you saying?"
"I wasn't saying anything. What were you thinking about?" Yi Sook talked in between chewing. Ae Ra looked at him disgusted.
"Ugh at least chew before you speak!" Yi Sook pretended to throw his omelet at her.
"Fine, what were you thinking about?"
"Aghui?" "Aghui.." They both said at the same time. Ae Ra chuckled nervously.

"I honestly don't know what to do."
"Ae Ra, you do realize this is out of our hands, right? It's a God we are talking about. " Ae Ra nodded, but her expression remained unchanged.
"There must be something I could help them with."
Yi Sook realized Ae Ra was determined. He couldn't help but feel exasperated. He clutched his head, sighing.
"There is no stopping you. What do you think we should do?"
"We?"
"Yeah! I'm not letting you face, whatever this is alone!" Ae Ra looked relieved.
"I don't know what I'll do without you." Ae Ra tried to hold Yi Sook's hand across the table, but he swatted it. She flinched back.
"Save your sentiments for later. What is your plan?"
"We should find Ma Go first. Ask her for advice, maybe?"
Okay.. how do you think we should do that? Do Hwan is of no use." Ae Ra rolled her eyes at him.
"Why do you dislike him so much, Yi Sook?" He simply shrugged making a face. Suddenly Ae Ra's eyes widened.
"Wait, I know someone who can help us!"
