"Loki, put your phone away." Thor scolded.

Loki hissed and continued texting.

"Loki."

"Fine, fine!" Loki snapped, sending one last text and putting his phone away.

"Guys. Hostage situation, people might die?" Natasha reminded.

"I was just texting Jane." Loki said. "She was worried since I skipped class and wanted to know if I was doing okay."

"Aww, Lokes-" Tony said.

"Shut it. Let's save these little shits or whatever." Loki grumbled.

"These little shits are people, Loki." Steve reminded

Loki rolled his eyes and unsheathed his knives.

"Dude, that's so cool!" Bucky said, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Geek." Tony coughed.

"Nerd." Bucky coughed back.

"I will fucking fight you." Tony said into his arm.

"Square up, punk."

"Guys!" Bruce said, clapping to get their attention. "People. In Starbucks. Let's go."

Tony nodded. "Let's get this bread."

"Do we know how many are in there?" Steve asked.

"No-" Clint started, but was cut off by the sound of gunshots.

"Shitshitshitshit." Natasha said and pulled one of her guns out of its holster.

"Wait, Tash." Tony said. "We can't just go in there. If we do, a bunch of people are gonna die."

Natasha tilted her head in question. "How do you-"

"I had a messed-up childhood." Tony shrugged. "These guys want shit, and we have to try and reason with them."

"Let me go in." Steve said.

"Absolutely not." Bucky said.

"What? Nononono. Something else." Tony told his boyfriend.

"Guys, I'm going to be fine. I'll go in, find out what they want, nobody gets hurt."

Tony sighed. "Bring your phone. Don't get in any cars. Don't move to any second locations. If they start shooting you get out of there, okay?"

Steve nodded.

"If you die, I'll fuckin kill you." Bucky warned.

Steve smiled. "Buck. I'll be fine."

"Clint, no. He's fine."

"But what if he's not?"

"He's fine." Tony snapped.

"I think Clint has a point." Thor spoke up. "Should one of us not go in to check on him?"
