Clint, Natasha, and Bruce walked into the library and sat down at one of the tables. The three had been paired together to work on an English project, and it was inevitable that they would get nothing done unless they were in a room of other students studying.

Clint opened his laptop and loud moans filled the library. Clint squeaked and quickly slammed his laptop shut.

The three stared at each other and then burst out laughing.

"Clint...are you watching gay porn?" Bruce asked innocently

"No! Absolutely not." Clint said.

"Okay." Natasha said, like she was going to change the subject. "Let me see your search history."

"No!"

"Why not?"

"That's private!"

"Why can't I see it if you have nothing to hide?" Natasha reasoned.

Clint grumbled something about friggin spies and picked up the nearest book.

"You're reading I upside-down." Bruce said.

Clint turned the book. "Happy?" He asked.

"Were you doing it to learn?" Natasha asked with a teasing smile.

Clint slammed the book down on the table. "No. No!"

"Come on." She said, poking him in the side. "Pietro?"

"I'm going to get another book." Clint announced, his face bright red.

Bruce and Natasha just stared at each other giggling.

Clint came back with an armful of books. "Okay, what are we supposed to be doing a PowerPoint on?"

"Essay." Bruce corrected.

"We have to do an essay on Call of the Wild." Natasha explained. "The book we read in class?"

"Oh, yeah!" Clint nodded. "Love that book! There's a guy...he gets a phone call from the woods..."

"You didn't read the book, did you?" Natasha asked.

"No."

"It's fine." Bruce said.

"Just use SparkNotes, you should be fine." Natasha advised.

Just then Loki burst into the library.

"Bruce, where's Thor?" The young god asked in a panic.

"What? No, why would I know where he is?"

"He always follows you around! You, the scary one!" He said, pointing to Natasha. "Can't you track people or something?"

"Calm down, Loki." Clint said. "What's wrong?"

"Three more SHIELD members have been found dead this morning, and there's a bunch of people saying I did it."

"Shit." Natasha murmured. "Lemme call Steve."

Natasha went to pull her phone out of her bag but her phone started ringing, Senorita blasting from her speakers. Natasha answered her phone and put it to her ear, turning away slightly from her friends.

"Bucky? I told you not to call me. What? No! Just get your ass down here and bring Steve, we have a situation."

"Are we going to talk about that?" Loki asked once she hung up.

"Nope."

"You sure? Because-" Natasha cut Clint off.

"We can talk about it once we talk about Pietro." That shut Clint up.

"Loki or Bruce, can you tell Thor to get here? He knows how to use a phone, right?"

Bruce nodded and picked up his phone. "You want Stark too?"

"Yeah, he or Steve probably know the most out of any of us."

Steve and Bucky were the first to arrive, Bucky sprinting and Steve speed-walking, trying his hardest not to break into a run in the hallway.

"Three more died today." Steve said.

"We know, Loki told us." Bruce said.

Thor showed up right after, quite literally thundering in.

"Brother, I know you did not do this, and I will smite-"

"No smiting." Loki said.

"Are you sure?"

"No smiting. And no Mjolnir either." Loki said.

"Fine." Thor said and sat down.

"Where the hell is Tony?" Clint asked.

"I'm not sure, he'll probably be here soon." Steve said.

"Let's start, then." Natasha said. "Does anybody know who died?"

"Fury just told me it was three very experienced members of the STRIKE team, it was a surprise that they were taken out so easily."

"Okay, that's a start." Thor said.

Tony walked in and greeted the group.

"Thr-"

"Three dead. I know. I got Bruce's text."

"Then where were you?" Loki demanded and Tony flinched.

"I was with Ty, okay?"

"Sorry." Loki said. "I just really wanna find a way to take these guys down."

"I get it, it's fine." Tony said, wincing as he sat down.

"Rough day?" Steve whispered to him.

"I'm fine." Tony said with possibly the most un-convincing smile ever.

Steve gave him a sympathetic look and then turned his attention to the group.

"Here's the plan; Tony and Bruce, you work on hacking into the SHIELD databases, see if there's anything they're not telling us. Nat, Clint, and Bucky, be ready if we need you to break in somewhere. Thor and Loki, you guys are the new kids from an entirely different planet, so that'll make the teachers have sympathy for you. Milk that for all it's worth and try to get info from them. If any of you know people who could be valuable to the team, call me."

The rest of the team nodded, satisfied with their leader's plan.

"We're gonna bring these sons of bitches down!" Tony said excitedly.

"Language." Steve said.

Tony tried to contain his laughter. "Did you just say 'language'?"

Steve looked genuinely confused. "We're in the school library, the librarian is right there."

"Nobody warned me you were such a friggin boyscout." Tony said, playfully punching Steve in the shoulder.

"Hey!" Steve exclaimed with mock offense, but really he was just glad to have Tony smiling again.
