5. Comforting eachother

When ever one of you was upset, the other always seemed to calm you down no matter what.

You didn't know what he did, but Ben had this way of managing to knock any problems out, and come up with solutions that you could use.

Ben thought the same about you. You were his rock, and any words that offered some encouragement was enough for him. Just you being there was enough for him.

Today was unfortunately one of those days for you.

You were in the public eye because you were Ben's girlfriend, but for some reason, some people began hating on you, calling you horrible things like 'slut, fat, ugly' and more.

You broke down in the living room as you read through them, dropping your phone on the sofa as you wondered what went wrong.

Ben heard the sudden commotion and cane running inside the house, seeing you get worked up on the sofa immediately.

"Baby, baby what's wrong?" He asked, sitting down next to you and bringing him into his chest.

He saw your phone on the sofa, opened on the page of hate comments.

"Are you getting upset because of the hate?" He asked, you nodding, not being able to find any words.

"Do not, and I mean do not, ever listen to a bunch of trolls, hiding behind a screen just so they don't get hate themselves. You're beautiful, stunning, amazing and just perfect. They're just jealous idiots trying to ruin you. But they can't, because they can't fault you. That's part of the reason why I love you, because you're so strong and resilient. And I know it's hard cause it's not nice, especially when you haven't done anything wrong, but you can't listen to them, if you do then they win," He explained, holding your hands.

You sniffled and nodded, finally calming down. He was right. Of course he was, why would you even listen to people who know nothing about you.

"Thank you," you muttered, giving him a small smile.

Ben smiles back and lead you out to the garden, kissing you in the summer heat, ready to be your rock if you needed him again.
