6. Baking together

Dom had come up with the suggestion of deciding to bake some cookies together. Of course you agreed, wanting to spend time and as you loved baking, it was a no brainier.

"So, what do we need?" Dom asked, rubbing his hands together.

You read him the recipe and he grabbed all that you asked for, putting them out on the side.

"You can't eat any though," You warned him, before measuring out the ingredients.

After you mixed the butter and sugar together, you saw Dom itching to lick some, knowing how much he liked butter and sugar. I mean, who didn't?

"Go on then," You smiled, as he put his finger in and licked some.

"Mmmm, I don't get it. It's just so tasty," He hummed, as you put in the eggs, vanilla and flour.

After mixing them, you asked Dom to pass you the chocolate chips.

"You can put them in if you want, I need to wash my hands," You told him, as he nodded and began pouring them in.

When you came back out of the bathroom, you saw him standing there, staring at the bowl with the empty chocolate chip packet in his hand.

"I'm sorry, I think I put too much in. It only said 250 grams, but I've put in a 400 grams packet," He told you.

"Well, you can never have too many chocolate chips," you giggled, causing him to look up at you and smile.

You put the cookies in the tray and then in the oven, looking back at Dom who was eating the cookie dough.

"Don't eat too much, you have a game on Wednesday," You told him, taking the bowl off him.

"Hey! That's not fair!" He pouted, trying to grab the bowl off you.

You took your final lick and threw it in the sink, which had water in it. Dom stopped and looked at you.

"You ruined it!" He frowned.

"Oops," You shrugged, as he came up behind you and spun you around, causing you to giggle.

He kissed you, then put flour all in your hair.

"Dominic!" You shouted.

He grinned, "Pay back."
