This was it, Barry finally had a hold on his dream, he was now enrolled in DA high school.
He was scheduled to go to homeroom for the first day, which was class 1-A, then the rest of the day would be spent on orientation.
He didn't know who would be in class 1-A, it could be Billy and Oliver for all he knew, or it could be Cisco and that girl who he saved during the entrance exams. All he knew was, no matter who was in class 1-A, he would still have to prove he could become a hero, worthy of the number one spot.
He said bye to Joe and Iris, and went on his his way to DA.
When he arrived, Elongated man checked who he was and gave him a student I.D. After he got inside, Barry started looking for his homeroom. He finally arrived, to the place where he would become a hero. He opened the door and was instantly filled with dread, Billy and Oliver were both in class 1-A. He then noticed that Cisco and Katlin were there and waved. "Oh, hey Barry!" Cisco said, waving back. Katlin waved at Barry as well. Billy noticed this and was astounded, how did Barry manage to get in? Did he just do well on the written exam? Either way it pissed him off. But for now, all he did was scoff and look away.
"Oh, it's that boy!" Said a girl's voice. Barry recognized it instantly, it was the girl he saved. "My name's Kara, Kara Danvers." She said. "I don't think i've told you that yet." "Yeah, you didn't, i'm Barry Allen." Barry said in response. He finally got her name. A step closer to becoming a hero! Or at least In Barry's mind.
Oliver noticed that Barry was there, and went up to him. "Hello there, I heard your name was Barry Allen." Oliver said. "I'm sorry for my actions during the entrance exams, I underestimated you and treated you as a lesser, please forgive me." "No, no, it's fine." Barry tried to explain. While they were all conversing a man dressed in nothing but black and yellow walked up behind them. "Class has started, You all need to get in your seats."
"My names Bruce Wayne, and i'm your homeroom teacher." The man said. The rest of the class could only think, who's that? But Barry had studied quirkless heroes, he knew exactly who that was. He started, "Guys that's-" "Idiots." Someone interrupted. Barry hadn't realized it, but a small guy dressed like a Bat was in the back. "THATS BATMAN!"
"Shut up. Bat-mite." Bruce said, "I don't even know how you got in this school. The faculty doesn't even know your real age." "That may be true, but wherever you go, I shall follow!" Bat-mite said. "Yeah, whatever." Bruce said. Alright, I'm going to read off this class roster, saying your names and quirks. Does anyone have any objections." Kara raised her hand, "Well, my quirk was originally Full Copy, but that was changed. Now it's a quirk no one knows about, even I don't, all i know is that it's the same as Superman's." She explained. Barry instantly realized what she was talking about and how it looked like she had multiple quirks.
Kara's quirk was Sun Draw. "Yeah, yeah, i'll just explain how your first quirk worked instead." Bruce said.
He started to list them off (while also just saying some thoughts about them):
Barry Allen
Quirk: Speedforce
It gives the same abilities as super-speed but also has extra powers as well, the extent of which is unknown, you can tell the difference because only Speedforce generates lightning.
Kara Danvers
Quirk: Full Copy
After the quirk is activated, the user copies the first quirk they see in action.
Oliver Queen
Quirk: Aim
This quirk gives the user impeccable aim, but only if they're completely focused.
Billy Batson
Quirk: Shazam
Whenever the user shouts Shazam, they gain the abilities of six legendary figures. Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zues, Achilles, and Mercury. (Kind of OverPowered if you ask me.)
Damian Wayne
Quirk: Quirkless
Damian doesn't have a quirk.
Garfield Mark Logan
Quirk: Ani-Form
He can turn into Bugs and Animals (all the sub-categories of bugs as well.)
Megan Morse
Quirk: Telepathy
She has the power of a telekinetic, it has many uses. It is also known that she has the same quirk as Martin Manhunter.
Koriand'r (How do you even pronounce this)
Quirk: UV Absorb
She can absorb UV rays and turn it into power, it gives the user the ability of flight and laser beams called star beams
Bat-Mite
Quirk: Universal Shatter
His quirk literally allows him to create and destroy universe, as well as have any quirk and copy the existence of any other, he's basically god. But he's an idiot so he just copies Batman.
Martin Stein & Jefferson Jackson
Quirk: Merge & Flamethrower
Merge allows the user to have two consciousness, but when it activates they merge withy the nearest person, Flamethrower allows the user to use intense flames, but it's very hard to control, the quirk is too powerful for one person alone. (WELL THATS CONVENIENT)
Karen Beecher-Duncan
Quirk: Bee
This quirk allows her to shrink down and shoot energy beams called stinger. (Wasp ripoff much?)
Hal Jordan
Quirk: Creation Ring
When the quirk activates, they generate a ring that is then bound to them, it allows them to generate anything at will, it basically relies on imagination.
Katlin Snow
Quirk: Ice Manipulation
This quirk allows the user to generate and manipulate ice at will, the side effect is multiple personalities. (How does that even make sense)
Cisco Ramon
Quirk: Vibe
He can create portals and manipulate energy beams. It is speculated he might be able to eventually make portals to other universes.
Carter Hall
Quirk: Reincarnation & Hawk
He is born again after he dies, having the same body and quirks he is born with in past lives. Somehow, he's only had one quirk, which was Hawk. It allows the user to fly using wings on their back.
Patrick O'Brian
Quirk: Elasticity
A quirk that allows the user to stretch their own body. Aka Elongated man but a child.
Val Armorr
Quirk: Martial Arts
This quirk allows the user to instantly know martial arts techniques up to 10 decades in the past and future. It's not fair.
Chuck Taine
Quirk: Ball
He can turn into a ball. That ball is also invincible. (What is wrong with society)
Zattana Zatara
Quirk: Sorcerey
It allows the user to cast up to God Tier magic, but since she's still a child she can only cast 3rd tier at the moment.
Arthur Curry
Quirk: Sea Caster
It allows the user to breathe underwater and also control it. He naturally has superhuman strength as an Atlantean.
After Bruce finished with the class roster, a few people had suggestions such as Koriand'r wanting to go by Kory, and Billy laughing, a lot, thinking they mistook Speedforce for Barry running away from robots. However, there was two things on Barry's mind the entire time.
Isn't Kory's quirk literally just Superman's quirk with a different name? and is Damian, Mr.Wayne's son?
Kara was wondering something the whole time and decided to ask Mr. Wayne about it, "When are we going to orientation? It's supposed to start really soon, and we already, took attendance I guess." Bruce looked back at her, with a smirk appearing on his face. "Oh, you're not going to orientation, we're doing something much more interesting." With that, Wayne gathered the class and they all went outside.
"Alright kids, you're going to be doing some fitness tests instead of orientation. Real heroes don't waste time on insignificant presentations, when they could be outside saving people." Bruce said. Barry couldn't deny that, but he was more focused on what the tests were going to be, he could probably win any races, but anything fighting based, he was doomed. Everyone in his class had such strong quirks, one literally having the same as Mr. Clark's.
Bruce still had one last thing to say, and it would force them all to try their very best.
Meanwhile, in an empty classroom inside DA. Clark was hoping to find out which teacher Barry got. Because if it was who he thought it was, he didn't know if he would be able to get past day 1. His worst fears for the young man came true, Barry had Wayne. Crap, Clark thought, right about now he would be outside, and that was when Wayne would say those dreadful words that always dropped his class roster from 20 to 19.
Bruce said those words loud and clear for Class 1-A to hear. "Whoever comes in last, will be expelled."
