Barry arrived to school the next day full of energy. He went to his homeroom where Mr. Wayne announced they would be going to core classes at DA as well. He gave them schedules and they were off to their classes. The classes were normal, like English with Elongated man. Eventually, he reached mid-day, and went to lunch, chatting with Kara and Oliver about stuff on the news, recent hero saves and stuff like that. Once lunch ended, all 3 of them looked at their schedule and saw the rest of the day would be training with... Superman! They rushed to his classroom and saw a note that said to travel to Ground Beta.

They arrived and saw their entire homeroom class gathered. Kory and Garf saw them, waved, and went to meet up. "Where do you think Superman is?" Garf said. Barry was wondering the same things. Suddenly, the entire class heard a noise and to their surprise, there was a long, dark tunnel that no one had noticed until now. That's when they heard the famous words, "Never fear, students, for I am here!" Superman appeared, dashing down the hallway at lightning speed. Everyone flinched a little, his speed was unparalleled, it was almost as if he were teleporting. That is, everyone flinched, except for Billy and Barry.

"How are you doing today, my fantastic students?" Superman asked. They all answered with a variety of answers, mainly good and ecstatic. However, some were in awe, specifically Kara. She went up to talk to Superman, but suddenly she felt weak. She fell to the floor, exhausted. Superman went closer to check on her, but the closer he got, the weaker she felt. Barry realized what was happening and told Superman. This was something Billy took notice of. Kara was rushed to the nurse's office. Which would inevitably screw up the plans for that day. The Class was then lined up by Superman, who began to explain what would be happening that day.

Superman started talking, "Today is a special day for you students. Every hero remembers the day of their first training session." Barry was ecstatic, he would finally be able to do hero stuff (or so he called it) at DA. "Oh, and also" Superman began, "You'll be receiving your hero costumes."

The entire class was more excited than they had ever been in their lives. Their custom made Hero Costumes would be distributed, today! Every student, before their first day, had to submit and order for a hero costume, specially fit to work with their quirk. Superman told the class, "Your costumes arrived this morning, quickly, go to your lockers and put them on. You have 5 minutes." Rushing to get their costumes, the class bolted off into the hallway.

5 minutes later...

The Class shows up, all in their special hero costumes, distributed and approved by the school. Barry made sure to get a hero costume that would work well with his newfound quirk. Specifically, he and Cisco developed a Suit that would protect him from the dangers of friction. Cisco recommended something to protect him from the lightning he generates when running. However, Barry pointed out that in never affected him or anyone around him, unless he "threw it." Barry recalled, that during the entrance exams, he managed to throw lighting at the green rock. Barry also helped Cisco design gauntlets that Cisco could create to help him focus the initial laser created whenever he generated a portal.

Barry's suit was basically a red jacket with yellow sweatpants with red stripes down the sides. Running shoes specially developed to not have the effects of friction apply to them. Another perk was yellow-tinted sunglasses with communication features embedded into it. As a plus, the design team added a lightning emblem on the middle of the jacket.

The other students all had specially designed outfit's as well. Oliver, for instance, has a subtle green hoodie and jeans, with an arrow pack on the back and a face mask. Other's were flashy, like Billy's costume, A full red body suit with a white cape and a yellow lightning bolt in the middle as well as white glowing symbols on the suit. There were obvious similarities with Barry and Billy's suits. The lightning bolt, the red and yellow color pattern. It was almost as if one of them was attempting to copy the other. Those just happen to be some disadvantages of quirks having similar effects. One summoning lightning and the other generating it.

Superman then leads the class to Ground Beta training grounds. He starts to explain what they will be doing. "Each of you will be paired with a random student. Half the teams will be villain's, and the other half will be heroes. The villain team has to protect a fake bomb, and the hero team has to touch the bomb or capture the villain's to win." Superman explains. He then pairs the teams.

Team A: Barry & Zattana

Team B: Karen & Hal

Team C: Jackson/Stein & Val

Team D: Oliver & Billy

Team E: Chuck & Arthur

Team F: Bat-Mite

Team G: Patrick & Koriand'r

Team H: Cisco & Katlin

Team I: Damian & Megan

Team J: Garfield & Carter

They all group together, Barry introduces himself to Zattana. They talk for a bit before lining up in front of the training grounds by Team order.

Superman then calls the first teams to fight.

"Team A is the hero team and Team D is the villain team."
