"Draco, wake up," Harry shook the little animal. In the common room, only Harry and Draco sat. Well, harry lay on the couch, and Draco was sprawled across his face. After dinner, the four had head up to the common room to finish up some homework, in which Hermione was very proud of. The two had gone to bed, leaving Harry and the ferret.

Draco squeaked, not getting off, just slightly shifting, letting out a snore. A very cute ferret snore. Draco was half awake, but would not please the boy-who-lived.

In the middle of reading his book, he had been knocked back into the couch by a particular ferret, by a swishing tail flicking his book, falling on his face, and falling back. And that same, very particular ferret had subconsciously lay on his face, and plastered himself on him. "Draco, wake up!" he repeated, poking his side. No response again.

Draco smiled in the inside, nuzzling Harry's cheek.

"Draco bloody Malfoy!" Harry whisper shouted.

Draco was still only half awake. His conscious part didn't want to move, and his subconscious just thought of Harry, all Harry. A world full of Harry's? Yes.

Harry picked up the sleeping ferret and sat up, resting Draco on his knees. The fire slowly burned out, sending a wave of cold into the now dark room. Harry sighed and picked Draco up again, cradling him in his arms to make sure, one, he wouldn't wake him, two, he would not break him as ferret's were very fragile. And maybe three, Draco was incredibly cute. He slowly walked up the narrow stairs and into the dorms.

Ron snore, very loudly, filling the entire room with sound.

Harry did his usual ritual after setting Draco down on his bed. Changing, brushing teeth, and, of course, silencing charms so he couldn't hear Ron's snoring. As he crawled into bed, his eyes not able to stay open any longer, Draco, from the foot of the bed, padded up to Harry and paced around in a circle near his pillow before curling in a ball next to Harry's face.

Harry itched his nose as something wet touched it. Without a doubt, Draco's wet little nose was prodding Harry's nose.

Draco dooked happily. Draco had never been so happy, for many reasons he was. He had actually slept the night, without his nightmares, he had slept close to his crush, and he was now going to be with him for two weeks. He felt happier than ever, like a weighted blanket had been uncovered from him. Them he realized. Shit! He thought. Not only had he not told his friends about truth or dare, he and Harry didn't even go. Well, more fun for today, he thought, slumping back in the bed.

How Draco had slept in an animals body, Harry did not know. He groaned and opened his eyes, face-to-face with Malfoy's little head. "Morning," He managed. Everyone was still sleeping, including him, he was barely conscious. "Oh no, I missed truth or dare! Malfoy must be-" And he remembered, Malfoy was right next to him. "Oh, everyone did." He sat up slowly, and got his clothes from his trunk that was still at the foot of the bed.

Draco followed as Harry walked into the bathroom. He looked at harry as if waiting for something.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" Harry picked Draco up carefully and plopped him back on the bed. "Do not move," he warned.

After a warm shower, and a slight brush of Harry's hair, Draco was head over heels staring at Harry. No one could manage the out-of-bed look but Harry, and he didn't even get out of bed that moment, and he had taken a shower. Thank Merlin he was a ferret at the moment.

Harry got all of his books ready in his bag, and Draco hopped on his usual position on his shoulders. As everyone woke and Harry walked down the winding stairs, he looked sat Dracos proud look. "Don't get used to this, Silver." He laughed as Draco glowered. But seeming as Hermione was in the common room, he was a bit glad Harry hadn't called him Draco. Maybe he did have some sense.

"Morning," Hermione greeted as Harry walked by.

"G' morning!"

"I'm going to go down with Ron, so don't wait for me."

"Sounds good," Harry smiled, he himself Happy he had slept. As the two, or rather, the one walked down the winding stairs and down corridors, Draco stood up on his shoulder proudly,  and made an elegant squeak. "No, don't" Harry laughed as Draco fell over, very luckily onto Harry's head. "Draco?"

Draco nodded in response.

"Won't people think its funny I randomly got a white ferret and you're gone?" He asked.

Draco made an exasperated sigh. He pat Harrys hair just as they walked in the hall. Food was already out, and, for some odd reason, he wanted to eat. He hadn't eaten properly in weeks, maybe months. It really was like Harry was helping him in some ways.

Harry plopped down in his usual spot, and Draco sat on the usual shoulder waiting to be fed. Harry laughed and handed him a sausage, and Draco almost inhaled the thing before asking for more. "Draco, you can just eat from my plate," Thank Merlin Draco was in his ferret form now, because, well, that would've been odd.

Draco hopped down onto the table and began eating some pancakes.

Oh shit, I did tell 'mione about truth or dare! Did everyone go there? He thought just as he realized. No, she would've said something, maybe she forgot. Yeah, she probably did.

Draco squeaked at Harry and pointed to the food.

"No, I'm not hungry."

Draco squeaked again, in a more orderly fashion.

Harry, knowing Draco would stuff food in his mouth if he said no, nibbled on the corner of a piece of toast. And he ate a human sized bite when Draco looked ready to stuff him. "What do you want to do today?" Harry asked as he walked aimlessly around Hogwarts after breakfast, with Draco cradled in his arms. "Right, you can't talk." Just as they passed the room of requirement, the door opened to reveal what looked like a miniature Gryffindor common room. He plopped Draco down on a couch and closed the door.

"Being a ferret is much nicer than you think," Draco sighed. "And truth or dare tonight? Same place and time as what we were supposed to do last night?"

"Sure," Harry deflated. It was okay talking to a ferret and handling it with care, but when it came back to human Draco he was annoying and snobby again. "I honestly don't care Malfoy."

"Back to Malfoy again, are we?"

"It never was Draco. Only when you're a ferret and I find you cuter," He blushed. "In a ferret-y way, of course." He blushed even more, and hid his face behind his hand.

"I'll take that as a compliment, Potter." Draco smiled. Not a smirk or a dead smile, but a joyful smile, like a normal person smile. At that, Harry smiled just as much, if anything, more. It was like Draco had more life in him.

"Malfoy, did you just smile?" Harry asked.

"Maybe?" He smiled again, melting Harry.

"Cool... so what are we doing?" Harry asked, not liking the smile that displayed on Draco's face.
