Draco watched as Harry slept peacefully, cuddled into his chest in a ball, snoring softly, unbothered by the cracks and booms of the thunder and rain. He, on the other hand, whimpered at each loud sound, jumping. At the sound of a particularly loud and menacing crack, he jolted.

"W- what's wrong love?" Harry groaned, rubbing his eyes as he sat up to look at him.

"N- nothing, H- Haz, go back to s- sleep darling," He whined, looking out of the window.

"Is someone scared of the thunder?" Harry giggled, smirking. And almost immediately realizing he wasn't helping in any way. "Come here love," He extended his arms, letting the scared Malfoy fall into his arms. "Shhh, it's okay love," He coaxed, rocking back and forth, tracing circles on his back.

Draco mewled again, melting into Harry's soft and comforting touch.

"Shhh," He repeated, wrapping the two in a plaid red throw blanket, laying down gently, still holding Draco close. He sighed softly before beginning to sing, a lullaby his mother signed him.

Go to sleep, my love,

Go to sleep, my darling,

You've got a lot of dreaming to do,

And I will show you there,

Draco looked up at his boyfriend wide-eyed, both in wonder and confusion. He cuddled closer, wrapping his arms around the figure gently, not tearing his eyes from Harry's green gaze.

Hush, my love,

Hushaby, my darling,

Drift away to your desired,

And I will find you there, my ferret.

Harry continued to rock him, shushing him again as he whimpered, pressing a kiss on his forehead gently. He had so obviously replaced 'darling' with 'my ferret' in the end but found it has a nice ring to it.

"That was-" Draco gazed. "That was beautiful, darling."

"My mother sang it to me when I was a baby," He sighed tearfully, still rubbing his boyfriend's back. "It's one of the only things I can r- remember," He choked out, remembering the flash of green light on Hallow's eve, remembering the death, remembering the pain, remembering the large thunderclap moments before.

"Hey, hey," Draco tilted his chin up to him. "Harry," He started, mewling worriedly as Harry's grip tightened and he closed his eyes.

"It's okay, go to sleep love," Harry smiled softly, kissing him again, smiling when Draco caressed his tears away with his thumb.

The two cuddled the rest of the thunderous night, that is, Draco whimpering along with it, and Harry having to wake every ten minutes to calm him down by kissing him, finding singing the lullaby to his lover multiple times comforting in many ways.

Harry tightened his grip on Draco.

Green. Too much. Mother's screams. Pain-

"Harry! Love, Harry, please, my darling, please wake up," Draco begged, still in Harry's grip.

"Green," He mumbled, waking up, rocking back and forth tearfully.

"Shhh, love," Draco sat up, propping Harry on his lap, peppering kisses down his neck, leaving a loving trail. "It's okay darling, it was a bad dream, that's all,"

"It was so real," he mumbled, collapsing into his arms.

Well what do you know, one moment Draco was cowering, and the next Harry was.

"Father is coming to Hogwarts, so to everyone, especially him, nothings changed, darling." Draco drawled, back in his menacing tone.

Harry pouted, missing his boyfriend. He kissed his forehead passionately.

"We are going to pretend like we hate each other in front of him,"

"Yep." He nipped his ear cutely.

"Just because your y boyfriend doesn't mean I'm treating you well in front of him."

"Of course," He nuzzled into his neck, wrapping his arms around his waist gently.

"And we need a ten-foot radius unless at our desks,"

"Like this?" Frowning, he stepped away from his lover, leaving a good 15 feet as he stood near the entrance of the bathroom.

"What? No. Love, get back here and start kissing me again, are you daft?"

Harry giggled, pouncing back into his arms, warping his legs around Draco's waist, and leaving a wet trail of kisses up his neck, beginning no lick and nibble his ear. Again- disgusting- worth it. "When is he coming love?" He asked, nosing his cheek.

Draco kissed him back. Not until the last day of break, darling." He smiled.

"Good."

"Bored, bored, bored..." Harry sang, flipping through the pages, no surprises, in a bored tone.

"Do I care?" Draco asked, sighing.

"You should." Harry pouted at his boyfriend's cold tone.

"Nope, I'm occupied with my own things of importance, pothead." He drawled, continuing to draw.

"Drawing important, and I'm not?" Harry sniffled jokingly, quite actually hurt though, wrapping his arms around him.

Draco shook him off. "Busy, seriously potter." He seemed quite, well, not there as he continued to draw his intricate drawing.

Frowning, Harry retracted, glaring at his fluffy ferret. "Rude ferret."

Draco shook his head, sighing in sadness inside. He continued to draw him and Harry, making sure the sad lion couldn't see. "Done," He muttered to himself, peering over to the sleeping Harry who was quite heartbreakingly crying. "Harry, love?" He shook him lightly.

"Y- yeah?" He sniffled- for real, looking up at him, holding Snow close to his chest while stroking his back.

"Sorry for waking you darling, I'm sorry, I was keeping this a surprise," He handed him the small drawing of the two, both in onesies of course, and very unwillingly Snow perched on Harry's shoulder in the onesie, licking his face. He did some crying while drawing it, but decided he deserved it for making his love feel the way he did.

"Hmm?" He rubbed his puffy from crying and sleeping eyes, sitting up gently, setting the snoring animal beside him while taking the paper in his hand. "Whoa. I- I mean, it's wonderful," He grinned, 'hugging' the paper. "And you did that just for this?"

"Mm-hmm," He admitted regrettably, pulling the shorter in for a hug.
