A/N: Oh my gosh, already chapter thirteen, AND almost 100 reads?! Lucky day for me! Ok, I'll shut my trap, please, continue reading. P.S. In my book, Draco may be soft, hehe!

As Draco continued sketching various images of Harry, he saw him staring at the artworks. "Oh, uhm," He blushed. He was still pretty shook of the events that day. "Sorry I'm drawing you so much, you're perfect-" He squeaked after he heard himself. "For drawing." He added quickly.

"No, It's fine, you're just so good," Harry told him, still staring at the perfect inked images of him. "They are absolutely amazing, Draco." Harry told him gently, looking back at his book.

"Thanks Potter," He said, ruffling the shorter boys hair. He said Potter in a gentle tone, not the usual drawling tone.

"Sure." Harry kept on reading about ferrets.

"Sudden interests on ferrets?" Draco asked, peering at the book.

"Only one." Harry replied cooly, surprised that he didn't blush himself. "Only one," He repeated, dragging his fingers over a moving image of a ferret almost identical to Draco.

"Oh?" Draco asked, raising his eyebrows in surprise. "Is that so, Potter?" He laughed, again, a real laugh, and looked back at his drawing, flipping to a new page. In the corner of the eye, he could see Harry nod while reading. He began drawing a rather large picture, a portrait of Harry, with a familiar ferret licking his neck.

Ferret massages, Harry read, laughing at the thought. Knowing the ferret, Draco would absolutely love it, and he smiled, closing the book and opening another about magical animals. "Did you know baby ferrets are called kits?" He asked.

"No, why do I need to know, am I your 'kit?'" He asked, not tearing his eyes apart from the drawing.

"No, you're my ferret, and will always be." Harry jumped slightly as Draco just laughed and leaned against Harry, his head on his shoulder.

"Good," He wrapped his arms around Harry's waist as his drawing materials disappeared. "Good to know."

This time Harry didn't mind, but was a bit surprised and uncomfortable because he didn't, well, do this with his friends. Playfully, yes, so maybe Draco was trying to be playful? He didn't  care though, he just smiled and kept on reading, resting their conjoined hand on his head lightly so that Draco's hugged himself.

"Is this what friends do?" Harry asked. "I have many friends, but I never spend time with them like this," Harry told him.

"Maybe," Draco closed his eyes, moving closer to harry. "Do you mind?" He asked as Harry squeaked again.

"No, I'm just, not used to this." Harry laughed, putting his book away. "Come on love, we have to go to dinner." He told him playfully.

"No."

"Draco fucking Malfoy, I hate to break whatever this is but I'm fucking starving so lets go!" Harry exclaimed, forgetting that anything happened.

"Fine..." Draco grumbled, standing up and hugging Harry again.

Harry just stood.

"Shit, Harry, I'm sorry." He squeaked, jumping away. "The only friends I have is Blaise and Pansy, but I never get to hang out with them, and now it feels like you're my only friend, and I don't know what its like to have a friend." He quickly mumbled, swaying on his feet in guilt.

"I know what its like." Harry told him tenderly, squeezing their held hands. "Back in the muggle world my life was never close to perfect, nor was here."

"Really? Your family must love you so much...!" Draco looked upon at him.

"If only," Harry sighed sadly, knowing there would be tears. "My Aunt Petunia wakes me up every morning at six to do the chores which is only done at one am, My cousin Dudley bullies me with his friends, and my Uncle Vernon, well, lets just say he likes punching." He smiled sadly, jumping yet again as Draco pulled him into a hug.

"I'm sorry, Harry," He sighed, tracing random shapes on Harry's back as Harry began to sob in his shoulder, clutching onto him.

"Sorry- Dr- Draco," He sniffled, still sobbing. "You shouldn't- shouldn't have to s- see me like t- this..."

"Harry, I am now your friend, so wether you like it or not, I'm here for you." He whispered, not knowing he had a side to him like that. He was hugging Harry, almost cradling him, like he wanted, so of course he had a hidden side like that.

"Tha- thanks Malfoy," He sniffled, finally letting go of him with puffy eyes.

Draco just smiled benignly, cleaning his shoulder and Harry's face with a flick of the wand. "Of course, Harry." He led Harry down winding halls and into the great hall.

"Can we sit with the Gryffindor's today?" Harry asked.

Draco groaned but let Harry lead him to the red and gold table.

People still stared, but most knew what happened, rumors, especially true ones spread very fast at the school.

"Harry!" Hermione hugged him, and Ron greeted with a small "Hi!" She glared at Draco, ready to grab her wand.

"It's okay now, we resolved it, we're even friends," Harry told her as she stared at Draco who leant against Harry.

She nodded slowly. "So, friends do this now?" She asked.

"I guess." He laughed. "Uhh, do you think you could...?" Harry asked her as he dropped the mashed potatoes.

"Sure," She giggled, filling both their plates with food.

Harry ate quite messily with his left hand, while Draco made no mess whatsoever.

"How's your dorm?" Ron asked the two eagerly, finishing off his third plate loaded with food. "Small? Big? Comfy?" He asked, smirking as Hermione hit him lightly with a side of "Ronald!"

"Uhh, big?" Harry told him.

"Cool."

 * * *

Back in their dorms, the two did some suppository 'friend cuddling,' which Harry didn't mind, without Ron near him to talk to, he felt quite lonely.

"Tired?" Draco asked as Harry curled up in a ball next to him, his head on Draco's lap. Draco rest his free hand on his back, tracing random shapes on it again.

Harry nodded.

Draco went back to reading his book with one hand, humming happily as Harry fell asleep on his lap. He made sure he was sleeping before he turned off the light and bent over, pecking his cheek lightly. "If only you knew how I feel about you, Scarhead." He sighed, closing his eyes.

A/N: Yay, three chapters in a day! I hope you enjoyed this, uh, soft Draco, hehehe! Gotta go to bed, happy reading!
