"The first day of winter break," Harry sighed as he set down his book, slumping back on the couch with a sigh. It was already midday, but the thought had just come to him with a pop.
"You think?" Draco sneered, but playfully from the other couch where he just lay complaining about the rate Harry was working and how dumb he was. Yeah. Ferret-Draco was a whole fucking lot better.
"You suck, I miss ferret Draco," Harry yawned.
"Good," Draco laughed, pulling himself up and sitting next to Harry.
"Like, I really do," He laughed, trying to make Draco feel bad for no reason, just despite himself. "He wore onesies, Draco, onesies. How could I not?" He pouted.
Draco chuckled, and this time, picked Harry up and hoisted him onto his lap. "I love you," He kissed Harry's forehead.
Well, maybe again he didn't. Now he felt in his little space, with just as little control over his shit mind that did this. He giggled softly and wrapped his arms around Draco's neck, melting into the loving kiss Draco gave him. "I love ferret Draco,"
"Oh, fuck you," Draco laughed, nuzzling his head into Harry's neck. He stood up and walked out of the dorm briskly, still holding his boyfriend in his arms.
"Where are we going?" Harry asked, clutching onto Draco's neck.
"You'll see love," Draco rolled his eyes at the people who stared at the couple.
"Okay," Harry frowned, nosing the boy's neck gently.
* * *
"Of course," Harry laughed as they walked out to the lake. Their favorite spot. He got set down softly on the grass and he plucked out some yellow flowers happily as his boyfriend sat next to him.
"Come on," Draco sighed, not knowing what he expected as Harry put the flowers in lightly with a grin, brushing his platinum strands off of his forehead. "Should've expected this."
"Indeed you should have." Harry mused. Why are we here? I can't imagine for nothing, nor for me to ruin your hair," He rolled his eyes.
"Oh I dunno," He told him truthfully, staring out into the lake. "I just wanted to spend some time with you, outside." Sighing, he lay back, eyes glimmering in the afternoon sun.
Harry lay back next to him. "I can see that," He entwined his fingers with Draco's.
A/N: I know, I know, too much fluff. There isn't much to write, ok?
"So what's wrong with Weasel?" Draco asked.
"What do you m- oh, well, I don't really know," He sighed.
"Oh." Draco obviously was disappointed with the answer, and mad at Ron.
"Yep," Harry mused, watching as some mermaids jumped out of the water and back in just as quickly. "It's okay though love," He soothed as Draco's hand tightened on his and his other fisted, obviously mad at Ron for 'hurting' Harry, looking ready to have a fistfight.
"No, it's not," He growled, proving Harry's 'theory' correct.
"Calm down love," Harry coaxed, stroking his arm in a convincing and calming way.
Draco melted into his touch and took a deep breath, calming himself as much as he could. He smiled softly and kissed Harry, pulling him on top of him.
"Hey lovebirds," Pansy laughed, dragging Hermione along as they sat down next to the two.
"Hey!" Harry laughed, kissing Draco's forehead.
"Um... Harry, Hermione?" Hermione asked, wringing her fingers together nervously.
"Yeah?" They both replied questioningly.
"I might have, um, accidentally told Pansy about, um, f- ferret, animagus," She mumbled into her hands as Pansy bounced up and down excitedly.
"The more, the merrier, am I right?" Draco grumbled.
"So, are you going to show me?" Pansy asked excitedly.
"Fine. Only because I'm your friend," He sighed, sitting up, bringing Harry with him. He smiled half-reassuringly to Harry when he saw his are-you-sure face. He sat and closed his eyes to focus, making sure not to turn into daddy-calling ferret-human again. Sure enough, he shrunk, although it took almost a minute, and he jumped onto Harry's shoulder.
"Oh my gosh, it is true!" Pansy squeaked, reaching to pet or jab, no one would know - the ferret, but got a bite and a hiss in return from the angry fluffy ball. "Hey!"
Hiss.
"Come on Pans," Hermione squealed, rushing to her feet and pulling her girlfriend along with her back to the castle, still quite obviously ashamed and embarrassed.
Draco hissed after them again and licked Harry's neck and earlobe sensually, lightly nipping. he dooked in a reassuring way as though saying 'it's okay' and wrapped his arms around a small amount of Harry's neck lightly, tapping with his paw rhythmically.
"Let's go back," Harry shook his head in disbelief, standing up slowly to not throw his boyfriend off. He giggled stupidly when Draco stood on his hind legs carefully, placing a paw on the top of Harry's ear and squeaking, standing above the whole world, his tongue sticking out triumphantly.
"Where's your boyfriend?" A Slytherin mocked as Harry walked in, shooting a disgusted face tp the ferret. Maybe it was the two together they were scared of. They would make fun of Draco when he was alone, and Harry when he was 'alone.' He could see out of the corner of his eyes as Draco widened his, teeth sticking out of his mouth madly.
"Shut up," Harry growled when another five people mocked him, all not yet at their dorms.
"Where is your stupid boyfriend, fag?" A Ravenclaw sneered as the two reached the entrance of their dorm. "And what's this stupid rodent?" He scrunched his nose up.
Before Harry could retort, or even just ignore him and walk into their home, Draco hissed madly. "No, Dra- Silver sto-" Shit. "No!"
Draco hissed and growled, jumping onto the boy's face and scratching and biting him, drawing lots of blood. "Fuck you," Draco hissed, scratching his eyelids.
"Silver!" Harry picked the rogue Draco up, sighing in mortified relief when Draco relaxed immediately to the touch of Harry's hand. "Bye," Harry grinned at the face bleeding boy who was crying and staring in pain, walking into the dorm without another word. "Draco, you can't do that!" Harry exclaimed as he set Draco down on the couch, sitting next to the still ferret-Draco.
Draco made no attempt to turn back human and slumped against the back of the couch with the most human-like, or rather, Draco-like glare.
"Dray, love, seriously, you can't do that," Harry sighed, gently petting him. "Even what they call me, you don't hurt people." He shuddered at the name but quite surprisingly didn't mind as much as before. It was almost as if... he was used to it? Yeah.
Draco let out a small hiss of sadness and placed his paw on harry's finger where he scratched his warm and fuzzy belly.
"Oh come on love," Harry smiled sadly, scooping up the ferret who was now sighing- in ferret language. "Why are you upset?"
Draco looked at him with a look of how-the-fuck-do-you-not-know-or-know-and-not-care-you-stupid-hot-cute-git-headed-git?
"Oh okay, okay, I know why, but- argh," Harry shook his head, giving up with a light sigh. "You should be glad you're my boyfriend," Harry laughed, putting the ferret in his hands to eye level.
Draco nodded, placing his paw on Harry's forehead and bowing his head apologetically like he did too many times, and stepped up to the tip of his fingers to lick Harry's forehead sweetly.
"You really should," Harry chuckled, holding him to his chest in a light hug.
Draco put his ear to Harry's heart, listening to his soft heartbeat. He squeaked in a matter of 'yes' and turned in Harry's hand, licking his fingers multiple times.
A/N: Long chapter in trade for the small ones, haha! I hope you enjoyed it...
