Harry sighed, staring out of the window. One day, six more to go. He hadn't gotten a reply from Draco but decided he was okay and just didn't get the chance to do so. After all, it was only three hours later, but yet he nervously pets Snow, receiving hisses as he dug his nails into his belly. "Oh, sorry Snow," Harry squeaked, patting them feverishly.

Snow growled, nipping at his finger.

"Snowie!" Harry frowned, cradling the small animal. As much as he knew Draco would absolutely hate this- especially the nicknames, he had developed care for the ferret, as much as any other.

Snow chittered, curling into a ball and licking his fluffy tail cutely.

Harry smiled softly, laying down on the bed with a thump, resting Snow on his chest as he looked up into the sky, having enchanted the top of the bed to be like the dining hall, to match the outdoors, finding it relaxing in case he had nightmares. "Draco," He mumbled as he lay his eyes on the constellation so very beautifully called Draco. He could just imagine Draco speaking, 'and that, is Draco, the most elegant of them all,' with a small smirk. He felt a sudden emptiness in him as though a part of him was far away.

Snow chittered loudly, nosing Harry.

"Yeah, what is it-" Harry's eyes widened as he saw a small black patch of fur on Snow's back. "What?" He frowned, examining the spot. "Makes you cuter," He grinned, the emptiness filling up with the joy and affection to the attitude-much ferret. Then the splotch disappeared, turning back white. He frowned again. "No, can't be." Maybe since he had 'created' the animal, their emotions were somehow linked, and his fur turned black whenever he was feeling negative? It did make sense. "Maybe," His lips toyed with a smile as he thought about having an 'emotion' ferret pet. He stroked his back happily, eyes resting on the constellation again, sighing, only missing him more. He didn't even notice the black spot appearing again as he unconsciously curled into a ball, missing his cuddles.

Snow frowned at his not almost fully black back, obviously noted the two were linked, thanks to the 'features' Harry added without thinking of, nor trying. He dooked, padding over to a small space between Harry's face and hand, nosing his cheek lightly in a comforting and cute manner.

"Thanks, Snow," Harry smiled gently as the not-so-albino-at-the-moment-albino ferret when he cuddled close to Harry's cheek, eyes flickering closed. At least he slept with him that night, instead of away from his creator.

The black ferret hissed protectively as the tawny owl swooped in as if shielding Harry from harm's way. He growled, both mad and in pain, feeling the same sad emotions as Harry, which were quite new to the poor galleon.

"It's okay Snow, It's just Draco," Harry murmured, squeezing his ears lightly in a pleasureful way before opening the letter, Snow turning almost fully white.

A/N: You know what, I'm going slowly insane, insane enough for this shit, a linked animal and human. In the end, don't be surprised if it's a sad ending and/or everyone is dead.

He fumbled to open the envelope, hands slipping and dropping it every so often, earning a slightly concerned dook from Snow.

"Finally," He laughed as the card slipped out. Dray had obviously enchanted it, for no one but Harry to see, and yet it was hard for him. He opened the card with a grin, reading the cheesy 'love letter.' Draco didn't come to mind as the softie who sent love letters every day, but nor did he not. Harry couldn't help but grin more at how stupid the letter was. It was so stupid it was beautiful, and he loved it. Honestly, surprising Snow wasn't just so blindingly white at the moment.

Dray,

This is the most horrible thing I've ever read, I love it little snake.

At this point, it wasn't even whos dominant, it was a question of why two people were and two people weren't at the same time. Sometimes and usually the Malfoy, sometimes Harry.

I sometimes wonder why I love you... Anyways, how is it there? What's going on?

He thought about it before telling him.

It's pretty fine here. I have a pet, a ferret of course, and he's helpful when I miss you and your cuddles. I love you, Draco.

Harry didn't think through the fact it sounded like he was replacing him with Snow. He had just said he was cuddling him while missing him. Dumbass.

The letter sent out with the mail, and Snow jumped on his lap in content and excitement, fur quite almost glowing as he chittered, tongue sticking out as he continued jumping, eventually rolling around.

"Snow," Harry giggled, scooping the hyper ferret up, stroking his back to calm him. He giggled again as Snow fell back into his hand, tongue sticking out more as he hyperventilated.

Snow was growing to like Harry more, no longer hissing that much, and hanging out around him more.

"Calm down," Harry purred, giving him belly rubs and massaging his ears through his hands lovingly. One could say he was protecting his emotions. The emotions were in him, but Snow felt like a chunk of the emotions, for some reason. He cradled the ferret as he walked out, deciding to go for lunch to 'feed his emotions.' God, it was weird.

"Watch it, freak," A Slytherin yelled as he specifically bumped into Harry, knocking Snow onto the ground with a squeak. He smirked as Harry bent over the pick up the almost fully black ferret, cradling the whimpering animal.

"Don't," Harry growled. "Don't say anything." Worried he'd lash out like Draco, he ran up to the hospital wing.

A/N: Ooooh the BoNdD! It's actually a cool idea in a way, I guess, the emotion shi. Should Dray get maaad?
