"A- A date?" Harry asked, eyes widening as he looked up from petting Silver.

"You heard me, love." Draco cooed, pressing his lips against Harry's. "Three broomsticks? I'm not a fan of that place but you are, so as long as you'd be happy." He rested his forehead against Harry's.

"Sure, I- I guess."

"Are you nervous? What's wrong?" Draco placed his hand on Harry's chin and tilted it up to face him.

"No," He smiled shyly as he stroked Silver's back. "Ive just never been on one, and we just started to, well, I guess date. And we aren't really boyfriends, so I-"

"Harry, thats why its called a date, love." Draco laughed his perfect laugh.

"I know." Harry giggled. "Yeah, I'd like that. No Silver or yes?" He asked.

"No, I want this day to be ours," He coaxed affectionately. "Unless you'd like to bring him?"

"No!" Harry replied too quickly. Turns out, the brunette got too depressed watching the two groom, it looked, well, too weird and close to making out, as the two practically fought with their tongues, which he didn't see what that actually had to do with grooming. At all.

Silver squeaked sadly as though he understood.

"Sorry bud," Harry laughed and kissed his head, massaging his ears, laughing more when the ferret chittered in pleasure.

"Hey, you can only do that to me!" Draco huffed as Harry massaged Silver's ears through his fingertips.

"And you're the one who literally snogs him," Harry rolled his eyes, hiding his sadness as he remembered whenever they did... that. "So you're in no position to say that."

"Grooming." Draco corrected.

"I'm finding it a hard time to believe that when you're tongues are in each others mouths." Harry glared, quite surprised at his own mood swings.

"Harry, it's what we do," He laughed nervously, only just realizing how weird it really was.

"Sure." He wasn't convinced. "Well, are we going now?" He asked happily, massaging Silvers ears again in spite of himself, thinking Draco really deserved it, in which he did. He kissed Silvers forehead when he chattered happily, licking his fingers.

"Yes," He said through his gritted teeth, glaring at Silver.

"Well, lets go!" Harry grinned, kissing Draco. "Bye Sil, be back soon." He practically skipped out.

"Someone's excited," Draco pointed out, smile returning to his face.

"Who wouldn't be? I mean, I'm going on a fucking date with Draco bloody Malfoy, really love, who wouldn't be excited?" Harry asked questioningly, tightening his grip on the blondes hand as passerby's glared at the couple. The couple.

"Don't even joke about that." He mumbled sorely.

"What do you- Dray." Harry stopped in his tracks to look at him, very perfectly placed in front of the dining hall, giving everyone free tickets to see what they were doing. "I'm not joking love, why even would I?"

"I dunno." He shook it off and shivered as he walked into the cold snowy air. "Haz, you should have brought a jacket."

"No, mother, I'm fine." Although he shivered.

"Don't say I didn't warn you love." Draco would have, really would have conjured him a jacket, but he wanted to see how this played out.

"Okay..." Harry sung, hiding his face in Draco's neck.

"Two butter beers please," Harry smiled at Madame Rosmerta.

"Coming right up," She smiled.

"Never had a butter beer," Draco mused, frowning as Harry said the name.

"Yeah, because you suck." Harry laughed, handing him the 'beer' as it popped up in front of the two. "Here, try it. It's what the breed called humans drink here."

"Okay, okay," Draco glared at him. He took a sip of the warm substance. "Wh- Haz, this- oh my g- this-" He store at the drink.

"Life changing, yeah?" Harry asked as Draco store at him and back to the drink with no words.

"Yeah." He mumbled, continuing to drink it. "I love you more for this-"

"Wow, thanks a lot, Malfoy."

"I- no love, I didn't mean it that way!" He told him quickly, pecking his cheek.

"I know, just messing around." He laughed.

"Mmm, c- cold." Harry muttered as they walked back.

"Thats what you get for not bringing a ja- cket," He sung, but nonetheless hugging him, casting a warming spell.

Then Draco disappeared.

Well, it looked like it, but Harry sighed in relief as the familiar warm, soft, fluffy white fur brushed his neck.

"Hello love," Harry laughed, taking him off and hugging him to his chest, shielding him from the light snow that fell from the sky.

Draco chittered and moved closer, placing his paw above Harry's heart, listening to the light melodic beating of his boyfriends heart.

"Thanks for lunch," Harry kissed his forehead. "Not how I expected my first date to go, who would expect me to freeze?" He giggled.

Draco dooked in a motherly way, licking Harry's face, trying to warm him up.
