"Jesus Christ!" Amanda muttered.
She watched as Anita got to the shrine and took off her shoes before going in. She took a big risk by moving a bit closer to stand by a tree,in order to hear their conversation clearly.
"My daughter,what brings you back to my —"
Anita cut him short," Old man, I'm not your daughter" she snapped
He studied her for a moment,"you seem very angry"
"Yes, I'm very angry! I'm angry with you and your useless charms!,"Anita ranted,"didn't you promise that it would never fail?so,what happened?"
"Calm down and speak more clearly. I can't understand you" the man calmly said.
"The charm you gave me to trap Frederick with,it has failed! He threw me out of his house!"
"Never! My charms never fail!"
"What nonsense are you saying?,"Anita scoffed,"anyway, I didn't come here for arguments. I've come to take back my money. I want it back, right now!"
The man stared at her." Young lady, I gave you a charm and it worked. I can't give you back your money,that wasn't our agreement"
"Old man, I'm not leaving here without my money! If you don't give me my money I'll scatter this place and scatter you as well, don't try me!"
Amanda shook her head in wonderment,she decided to show herself and get Anita to tell her where her child is before a fight breaks out.
She left her hiding place and walked close to the shrine, maintaining a safe distance from it,she called out,"Anita!"
Anita and the old man both turned to her." Amanda? What are you doing here?" Anita asked, clearly surprised.
"Where is my child?" Amanda queried.
Breaking into a smile, Anita came to stand in front of her.
"Your child? No, she's my child,and what I do to my child doesn't concern you. I could decide to kill her, it's none of your business"
Amanda looked sharply at her." You wouldn't dare! You won't dare lay a finger on my child!,"she stepped closer,"Anita, I'm not afraid of you. I'll do anything to find my child"
"Ohh,"Anita made an amused face,"so,now you're claiming 'super woman',am I right? You think you can stop me from doing what I want to that child? Let me tell you, I've already done my worst. You'll never be able to find her. And I won't tell you where she is"
Amanda charged forward and grabbed her by the neck, threatening to strangle her to death.
"Tell me now where my child is,or I'll kill you!"
Anita burst into laughter. She knew Amanda too well to fall for her threat. Amanda could never hurt a fly,let alone a human being.
She shoved her hands off her neck and pushed her away violently. Amanda fell back, landing on the ground with her head hitting a stone. She shrieked in pain.
"Look here,let me tell you something. You can't do more than a dead rat. Instead of you killing me, I'll be the one to kill you" Anita said, standing over her.
Amanda staggered to her feet. She gazed at Anita and shook her head,"I never knew you had this much evil in you"
"Now you know," Anita said. She gripped Amanda's hair tight, making sure it hurt her," Anita can never lose,if I'm to lose,then we all lose. No one can win me, especially not you"
She pulled and increased her grip on Amanda's hair and she grimaced in pain.
Amanda tried to pull her hand away from her hair,but she couldn't.
"Old man,"Anita called, grinning," do you have any poison with you here?"
