Leona Baggins lives with her older brother Bilbo in the peaceful rolling hills of the Shire - that peace is short-lived when a wizard and a group of chaotic dwarves seek them out for an adventure of a lifetime.

Leona Baggins (get it....Leo...Lion....eh?) is a young hobbit - around 31 (20 in human years) - and lives with her ball of anxiety brother Bilbo. Leona resembles Bilbo in some aspects: she has brown/red hair that hangs to her mid-back in loose curls and her eyes are bright green with flecks are gold. She is normal in size for a female hobbit but in the eyes of anyone else, she is quite small at 3'7" tall (Bilbo is supposedly 3'9" tall). She is often made fun of by the other hobbits for her smaller feet - still large - but smaller than the standard of hobbit feet.
Leona is often referred to as just Leo by the hobbits around the shire and Bilbo as well. She is well known and loved in the Shire as she is a bright presence to even the grumpiest of hobbits (which is most of them).
Leo works for an elderly farmer hobbit and helps him tend to crops and some livestock - her favorite is a little pig named Mavis.
Leo loves nature and crops and animals; however, her passions in life are her maps. Bilbo thinks staring and studying maps is a silly waste of time as he always tells her "why do you always look at this, the mountains aren't moving anytime soon!" She ignores him for the most part. She owns a map for almost every region of Middle Earth and she knows every twist and turn by heart.
