Chapter 8: The Truth Will Set You Free

Pitch

I watch as Jack and Elsa sit on the bed and start to talk, I smile to myself. He thought he was so powerful but I am still stronger and that is why I'm the Master and he is nothing but my slave. I thought about how I found him that night, my damn brother thought he would get this one before me but I beat him to it. His already took the Sandman before I could get him; he would have been a great slave.

But then I found Elsa... If I found her then I know my brother is watching her as well and she is much more powerful than I am. At first, I just wanted to kill her, but if I did that, my brother would just make her into what Jack is and I can't have that. So why not bring her to my side? And with Jack, it'll be easy. I am the boogeyman after all.

Jack

I put my head in my hands, "I did that to you?" I ask, still not looking at her. "Yeah... But it wasn't you Jack, it was someone else, he never said his name." "Pitch." I say and look at her to see a confused look on her face. I sigh, "His name is Pitch Black and if you think Hans is evil, you haven't seen nothing yet." Shut up! If you keep telling her this, then you're going to tell her what Pitch wants you to do. I yell at myself. But I can't stop; she needs to know the truth.

"How do you know this?" I hear her ask which gets me out of my mind. I sigh and look at the ground; I can't look at her after I tell her. "I know because I work for him." I told her everything; from the time I woke up to only see him, the light, and what he wanted me to do. "I am evil Elsa; I was created or brought back to life to be evil and to work for Pitch." I finally look at her to see her crying. "He ordered me to kill you." I say and I see her flinch.

"Why? Because I'm going to be queen soon? I don't understand." She asks. I shake my head, "It's because of your powers Elsa, you're powerful, you're stronger than me, maybe even stronger than Pitch." I see her sitting there trying to figure out everything. "That... Frost that Pitch was going to use on me... What does it do?" I hear her ask. "It makes it so I have full control of anyone, or to make them see only the beauty in the world, I don't know why. But I don't use that, Pitch won't allow it." I see her put her hand on her head, "So... Mark didn't retire, you used that... Frost to make him leave..." I nod. "And Pitch wants to use it on me now? So I will work with him?" I nod again before I feel a slap on my face. "How could you!?" I hear her yell and I feel her get up from me. She was standing in front of me, her eyes blazing with angry. "Elsa please hears me out...." I say but she just slaps me again.

"You lied to me you bastard!" I see her hold her head, "I trusted you, God I told you about Hans, my powers, everything! How could I be so stupid." I get up and grab her shoulders, "Elsa, listen to me." I say and shake her. "I don't want to work for Pitch, I want to protect you! Only you." I whisper the last part, "Only you." Tears just keep falling form her eyes, it breaks me seeing her like this. Then she starts to hit my chest as hard as she could. "I hate you! I hate you, you son of a bitch! Do you hear me!? I HATE YOU!" She screams as she keeps hitting me then she falls into my chest and starts to cry, I hold my hands up, I wasn't ready for her to do that. "I love you." She cries and I feel my hands go to my side. "I know I shouldn't but I do. I love you jerk."

I feel my eyes widen as I keep listening to her cry... She loves me. "Elsa..." She shakes her head, "No... Don't." She says but I don't listen to her and pull her head to face me. Just looking at her, I start to think of a quote from that song that Elsa and I danced too. "I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways." I say as I grab her right hand and put my other hand on her waist. "What are you doing?" She asks as I start to spin her around. "Maybe it's all part of a plan." She shakes her head, "I can't do this Jack..." She says and tries to get away from me put I just pull her out and right back into my chest again.

"Well, I'll just keep on making the same mistakes, hoping that you'll understand." I feel her move her hits the more I sing. I pick her up bridal style and spin her around. I finally see it, her smile and then I was honored by a laugh as I put her down and step back. She looks at me, god I hope this work. "But, baby, now. Take me into your loving arms!" I hold my arms out waiting to see if she'll come to me. "Jack..." She says and starts to walk to me and into my arms as I hold her close. "Kiss me under the light of a thousand starts." I make it start to snow, almost making it look like we have stars in her room.

"Oh, darling, place your head on my beating heart." I whisper and place her head on my chest. "This is where we found love... Right here." I say as she looks at me. "Why would you do that?" She asks. "I... I love you." I say and I feel that pain again in my chest, but worse. I let out a scream as I fall on the ground Elsa still holding on to me. "Jack!" She yells and holds on to me. "God, its hurts!" I yell and hold my chest; it felt like something was trying to break out of my chest. I don't know what is happening.

Before Elsa could say anything we heard someone break down the door, I look to see Kristoff running to me and I black out.

HELLO CLIFFHANGER!!!!! Yes go ahead and be mad at me, but come on, this is the best way to end this chapter! Even though it was kind of short, I'll update again soon, I got a lot of ideas for this story!
So this is story I am reading and I think it's AMAZING!! It's called The Promise by mishyrose27 guys this sorry is amazing! You should check it out! It's not Jelsa but so far it's super cute! Give this writer some love! And I see she has another story so now I must go read it!
