"Wait WHAT?!" Sokka yelled at the Avatar, "Why didn't you tell us sooner?! Like last week when you spoke to Roku!"
"Sokka, I'm sorry! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it!" Aang exclaimed, "I didn't know how to tell you!"
"That my sister is being controlled by a fucking Spirit?!"
"I'm so confused! What does that even mean?! What do you mean (Y/n) is possessed?!"
Toph clenched her fist, "Twinkle Toes you better explain this better!"
"Ok! Ok!" Aang put his hands up, "Let me explain this again," he sighed. "When I was with Avatar Roku he told me about a dream him and Fire Lord Sozin had. They wanted to be reincarnated together so they could protect the world forever..."
"But that didn't happen" Sokka grumbled leaning back on a large stone.
"It's impossible! The only reason you were able to be reincarnated was because of a very powerful Spirit. It's impossible for anyone else!" Katara added.
"Yes but... she wasn't reincarnated.." he explained to the three.
"I'm so confused" Katara gripped her hair.
"Roku showed me Fire Lord Sozin dream. He wanted to live forever, and he didn't care how" Aang told them.
"This makes no sense!" Sokka yelled making Toph groan, "Sokka it's obvious! This stupid Spirit decided since he can't be reincarnated he decided to do the next best thing and posses your big sister" she sighed. "But why would he chose Smarty-pants? Why not someone from his family? You know.. so he could have political power" Toph then asked, "Why a nobody girl from a small village?"
"Because she's the Southern Dragon," Sokka sighed darkening his eyes. "She's one of if not the strongest benders in the world.. who wouldn't want to control that power" he tightly gripped his new sword.
"How strong is this possession?" Katara asked, "Is she still in control of herself?"
Aang nodded, "Yes, but I don't know how much time we have left.."
The three's eyes widened and Sokka glared at him, "What do you mean, 'I don't know how much time left'?"
"When I woke up... I had a flashback to the catacombs... I watched as I got hit, but when I looked at (Y/n)... Sozin's spirit was holding her"
"How much time do we have left?" Sokka clenched his eyes shut.
Aang couldn't look his best friend in the eye, "Not long"
The three couldn't believe what they were hearing, "Do you know how to get this... thing out of her?" Katara asked.
Aang shrugged, "From what I know the only way to get a Spirit out of a person... it's for that person possessed, to beat the Spirit in a battle"
"No" Sokka clenched his eyes shut again.
"What happens if... if..." she trailed off.
"What happens if she loses the battle against the Spirit?" Toph asked.
Aang looked down, "If she loses... or gives in or up... the Spirit will claim her body... and her Spirit will... her Spirit will-" he tried to finish the statement without crying but couldn't.
