Background – Iskall sees grian and Xisuma's message history. It's pretty gay, and they're here to embarass Grian for it. 

Grian and Xisuma are married? Oh, even better in their eyes. Grian and Xisuma don't agree. 

Requested by the entire comment section on "Xisuma Does a Bad" in hunted, but mainly lwatts41 who said they would like to see something where Xisuma and Grian get married in secret

A/N: Inspired by the comments on the paragraph in 'Hunted' where Stress says something about Xisuma and Grian not being married, as far as she's aware

A  message. 

A simple message. 

That's all it took. All it took to tip them off. 

Grian was off somewhere, presumably his base. Iskall had been over to borrow Grian's villiagers, and help him do a little bit of the setting up, when Grian had gone inside. He'd then recieved a message, and naturally, being the wonderful friend Iskall was, they had chosen to snoop. 

Oddly, the message was from Xisuma. Now, Iskall messaging people wasn't uncommon. Xisuma participated in the group chat quite frequently. 

Key word, group chat. 

This was a private message. With a heart sent after it. 

Seemed pretty gay to Iskall. 

Naturally, they decided to open the message, reading through it. 

<Xisuma> hey, can you make it tonight? just thought i'd double check :) <3 

That message in itself didn't give away too much. So what if Xisuma wanted to meet with Grian latter? They were friends to! Iskall wasn't Grian's only friend. 

But that heart had Iskall thinking. 

Without too much more thought, they scrolled up through the message thread, seeing a lot more hearts in the chat, from both Grian and Xisuma. Xisuma liked to mention 'honey' a lot, while Grian would often talk about bees, although Iskall wasn't sure why. They were more skimming the messages then reading them. 

After a few moments, they found a message that might give them context to what was happening later, between Grian and Xisuma. 

<xisuma> oh yeah, per our bet, i'll treat you to dinner love. does next wednesday sound good? <3

<Grian> sounds perfect bee <3

Xisuma had called Grian 'love', and had offered to treat him to dinner. generally only people dating did that, though!
