Fuck. This was bad. I mean, I would be happy to rid myself of some of these stupid mortals, but I don’t wanna have to save more people than I already do, and I don’t want my secret to get out.
Covering myself in shadows, I grabbed Ligeia and Salem and pulled them to the side when nobody was looking. I looked at Salem. “I didn’t wanna leave you in all of that by yourself.” I turned to Ligeia. “This is bad. Real, fucking, bad. We need to figure out which clues are real, and one is a lie.”
“What clues do you have?” Salem asked.
“We have that we can’t find what we need here in Olympia until another person joins our group, that blob man isn’t a god, and...” I turned to Salem. “Are you an evil spy that’s going to kill us all?”
What?” He asked, flabbergasted. “No.
“That’s what I thought. And we have you, but you’re a truth, so it’s one of the other two.”
“Well, if he was able to capture a god, then he must be a god, right?” Salem asked.
“Usually,” Ligeia said, “But not always. I’m pretty confident that it’s the not a god one, but we’ll keep looking for our next clue, and if we don’t find it by the end of the three days, then I’ll be certain. I mean, we found all the other clues in a day or less.”
Salem and I nodded in agreement. Uncovering us from the shadows, we walked back over to the group, and we were bombarded.
“What the frick is this two truth and a lie you’re playing?” Percy growled. “And why weren’t we told?”
“We weren’t allowed to tell you,” I shrugged. I really didn’t give two shits. As long as we found dad, I didn’t care how many demigods it lost.
“Well, you need to tell us what the three things are that we’re determining whether are truths or lies,” Leo told us, glaring.
“One, that we can’t find what we need to to move on here in Olympia until another person joins the group. Two, that blob man isn’t a god. And three, Salem.”
The group turned to glare at Salem, but Ligeia spoke up. “He’s a truth. We already figured that out. We believe the lie is that blob man isn’t a god. Not many beings besides gods could do this.”
“Okay,” Hazel said, pushing to the front of the group. “Then it’s settled. They know more about this than us, so for now, we keep looking for our next clue.”
The group must trust Hazel quite a bit, because they huffed and walked away.———————————————————————————————————————————————
Three days later we still hadn’t found any clues. The group is split up, Ligeia, Salem, and I, Nico and Will, Jason and Piper, Percy and Annabeth, Hazel and Frank, and Leo on his own.
As we were walking through the piers of Percival Landing Park, we got to the end of a dock, and I saw a piece of paper. Picking it up, I read it.
Ligeia must’ve seen the look on my face, because she gasped. “Is it what I think it is?” I nodded.Dear Melaena, Ligeia, and Salem,
Three days are up, and you are wrong. I’ve rethunk my last letter and realise that you would probably figure out which one was the lie pretty quickly if I kept saying you were wrong, so I have a new term. After you roll the dice and choose the leaving demigod, everyday until you find your last member, you will lose someone. You can find your next clue in Olympia without a new member, that was the lie. Have fun. Here is the list: 1. Percy 2. Annabeth 3. Jason 4. Piper 5. Leo 6. Nico 7. Frank 8. Hazel 9. Will. The dice will decide.

I looked around until I saw a small white die. Picking it up, I tried to hand it off to Ligeia and Salem, but neither of them would take it. “Really guys? You’re leaving me with the roll? Then they’re all gonna blame me.”
“We won’t say who rolled it,” Salem chided, giving me a sorry-but-go-on pat.
Bending down, I took a deep breath and rolled the die. Looking at the list, I couldn’t help but smile. “Hit and miss, aka, Hotpocket."
Meeting up with everyone later, I was the first to notice that Leo wasn’t there, but sadly, not the only.
“Where’s Leo?” Piper suddenly asked, causing everyone to look around violently. Once they were sure he wasn’t there, they turned straight to us. “What did you do?”
I smiled, holding up the piece of paper and die from earlier. “Demigod roulette. Number five.”
Thanks the gods for shadow travel, because if I wouldn’t of shadowed, I would’ve been pummelled. After shadowing, I turned around to see everyone in a big dog pile, Ligeia and Salem stuck at the bottom. I smirked. “Ha!”
