3rd Person POV

Sadie sits on the edge of Raf's bed, watching Landon connect the links on his board

SADIE: I had no idea where Raf was...but I didn't know if I wanted to see him. I like him and all, don't get me wrong but...but there's just a lot going on right now

The door opens and Hope walks in

Landon hides his injured arm behind his back and shoots Sadie a look to be quiet

"Oh, what's all this?" Hope asks

"Oh. I couldn't sleep." Landon says. "And Sadie's here cause her and Raf are dating."

"Woah what?" Hope asks, looking at Sadie

"Hey, woah, he kissed me." Sadie says, looking at Hope. "I'll fill you in later."

"Anyways, I was just up all night trying to figure out how I was able to fly." Landon says. "Or, you know, float."

"Oh, my God. Tell me you didn't." Hope says, pulling Landon's injured arm out from behind him

"Oh, it's just from the top of the garage." Landon says. "I had to see if I could make myself do it again. Cause the current working theory is the spike of adrenaline when we kissed caused something to happen, but so far--"

"Landon." Sadie says

Landon looks over

"Yeah?" Landon asks

Sadie nods at Hope and Landon looks at her face

"Hey. What's wrong?" Landon asks

"I had a dream last night that you were hurt and I-I couldn't save you." Hope whispers

"It's the prophecy, right?" Landon says. "Look, just because I hovered off the ground once doesn't mean that I'm the hero who rises. It could be Wade, for all we know. He's the one with actual wings."

"No, Dorian said that there is a golden arrow in the inventory of our stolen arsenal." Hope says. "What if it is the one thing that can kill a phoenix?"

"Then you'll Superwoman in and save the day, like you always do." Landon tells her

"Except I'm pretty much failing as a hero lately." Hope says. "I have no idea how to bring the Saltzmans back."

"I know -- I know you feel like you have to fix this." Landon says

"Because I do." Hope says. "If I don't bring them back, no one else will. If I could just talk to them...Dr. Saltzman would know what to do. "

"That's not an option." Landon says. "You told me that astral projection into a prison world is dangerous."

"It most certainly is." Sadie speaks up from her spot

"Look, I know you feel like this is all on you, but you're not alone." Landon tells Hope. "You have me. We'll figure it out. Co-heroes, remember? Plus, you have Sades."

"Fine." Hope says. "But this co-hero is officially banned from flight attempt until the golden arrow is found, okay?" She tells Landon

"No putting myself in danger. No risky astral projection. Deal?" Landon says. "Besides, that golden arrow of yours is as good as found. Dorian has some of our top men working on it."

Sadie lets out a small laugh at who Landon was talking about

***

Landon and Sadie walk into the office where Hope is. Landon carries a tray of food for Hope while Sadie eats out of a bag of chips
