Episode 9: Get it together!

Saturday 3:30pm.

Since it's a beautiful day outside today, Hakeem thought it would be a great idea to have a little family day with Tiana and his kids. He wasn't going to mention it to her that he knows about the fight between her and Mya, because he wants to see if she'll tell him herself. Pulling out his phone, he called Tiana, hearing it ring three times. "Yes baby daddy?" Tiana answers, warning chuckle from him.

"Wassup baby momma. Let's go to the park with the kids, and take some family pics." Hakeem suggests, already grabbing his keys to go to her apartment. "Don't you think wifey will get mad? I already had a fight safe her once, and I'm not trying to have Cookie fire me because of her." Tiana says, getting up to go get the kids ready. "Don't worry about her, I'll handle her later. Y'all just be ready when I pull up." He tells her, before they hang up.

15 Minutes Later.

"Daddy!" Prince cheers, seeing his father walk through the door. Ever since Hakeem's been coming around more, Prince knows who he is now. "Wassup daddy's big man. Where mommy and sissy?" Hakeem questions, fully walking into the apartment. "We right here." Tiana says coming down the stairs behind Bella.

"Hi daddy." Bella says running into his arms. He scoops him and Bella up, then walks over to Tiana and pecks her lips. "Y'all ready to go?" Hakeem questions. "Yeah we're ready, just let me grab my purse and Prince's bag." Tiana tells him, then walks away. After making sure she has everything for her and the kids, they make their way out of the apartment.

At Lucious's Mansion.

Lucious and Cookie are relaxing in bed, because neither one of them had to be at work today. Lucious is really missing all of his grandkids, and wants them to come over for the night. Cookie is missing them deeply as well, and wants them to come over. "Babe?" Cookie and Lucious both say at the same time, before laughing.

"Yes babe?" Lucious asks. "I want all my grand babies to come over here, I miss them." Cookie says, resting her head on his chest. "I was thinking the same thing babe, feels like I haven't seen them in years." Lucious exaggerates, then reaches over to his night stand, to grab his phone. He dials Andre's number first and listens to the phone rings three times, before he answers.

"Hey pop" Andre greets him. "Hey son, me and your mother wanna know if we can have Walker for the night?" Lucious asks. "I was actually gonna call and ask y'all can y'all watch him for me anyway. I wanna take Terri on a date tonight." Andre informs him, making Cookie smile. She's very happy at the progress Andre has made, and how Terri was able to take him back after everything.

"Well that's good son, bring him by later." Lucious tells him. "Thanks pop and okay love you, tell mom I love her too, I know she's with you." Andre tells him, making them both laugh. "We love you too son." Lucious tells him before they hang up. Lucious looks over at Cookie to see her smelling at him.

"Whatchu smiling at woman?" Lucious asks her. "I'm smiling at you, and how you've really changed. Now you tell your sons you love them with no hesitation?" Cookie tells him, pecking his lips. "You've helped me become a better man and father, and I love you for that baby." Lucious tells her, then dials Hakeem's number next.

"Put it on speaker." Cookie tells him, wanting to hear this conversation. "Wassup dad." Hakeem says, after picking up on the fourth ring. "Wassup Keem, whatchu up to?" Lucious asks hearing Bella and Prince laughing in the background. "I'm at the park with Tiana and the kids. I wanted to have a lil family day." Hakeem tells him, smiling at the sight of his kids and Tiana playing on the swing.

Hakeem finally realizes that this right here, is where he and his heart belonged. "Where's Mya Hakeem, cause I'm getting tired of dealing with that girl and I will fire her if she keeps starting fights." Cookie tells him, meaning every word she's saying. "I'm gonna handle her tonight ma, don't fire her just yet." Hakeem's says, trying to figure out how he was gonna finally get Mya to understand that he doesn't love her.
