The following day

Something was not sitting well with Cookie since she slept with Lucious. Lucious tried kissing her she blocked him with her hand.
"Something you Wana tell me, Cook? Because last night you screamed my name shamelessly but today you treating me like a stranger" Lucious said. "Last night was a mistake," she told him. Lucious was confused. "Which part?" Lucious asked. Cookie looked at him and rolled her eyes. "All of it," she said. Lucious frowned. "So what are you saying Cook, yesterday meant nothing to you?" He asked getting frustrated. "--because I thought we were getting somewhere," he said. "I told you cook, I love you but you just keep dismissing me," Lucious said. "Somethings you can't just fix the overnight man," she said. "Yeah, but we gotta start somewhere" he objected. "We can't let sex decide our relationship status, we both know that's our weak point," cookie said. "I don't understand you cook. I don't. But while you doing THAT why don't you fucking call me when you ready for us because I'm tired of this shit it's confusing the shit out of me" he said raising his voice and pointing with his finger. "I should do that Lucious? do you hear you?" She asked. "Yes, you should. Since you want to decide the status of our relationship. Since you want things to go your way, why don't you do that! Do that!" He said walking out of the kitchen. Cookie gasped.

Cookie went bossy later on.
She passed Giselle by not seeing her. "hey cookie!" Giselle said. Cookie looked at her but kept walking, Giselle ran after her. "Cookie the Artist I told you about? Andre signed him" Giselle said. "He is at Empire. I told you he was fire cookie!" Giselle continued. Cookie was busy clicking on her phone. She arrived at her office and then lifted her face to finally pay her attention. "Thank you, Giselle. Anything else?" Cookie asked. "I can get him to sign with Bossy, you just promise me a contract, go to empire and hear him Cookie he is good," Giselle said. Cookie opened her door. "Go to work girl, I don't want anybody you know in my studio, cute uniform, is like you were born in it," cookie said and stepped inside her office then shut the door. Giselle frowned then looked at her cleaning uniform. She rolled her eyes and sighed. Then walk away.

Later on, Cookie had to pass by Empire.
She was looking for Jamal to discuss him coming to Bossy. She looked in every studio. She stepped inside the studio while the new artist was singing. He sang so beautifully and seductively grabbed all of Cookie's attention, she paused and looked at him through the glass wall. "Wow!" She said under her breath. "Who is he?" Cookie asked the guy behind the mixer. "Usher! He used to be a huge artist and stopped singing, he is back with a comeback album" the guy said. Cookie looked at the guy. He was handsome too. "Okay man that was beautiful, let's take 10," the producer said. Asher raised his thumb and picked up a bottle of water. Cookie walked inside the vocal room. "Wow, that was amazing!" She said. He smiled. Gosh, even his smile is beautiful. Her head kept screaming *LUCIOUS, REMEMBER HIM?* "I'm Cookie Lyon," she said. He chucked. "Everybody knows you, Mrs Lyon," he said. "Ms!" She corrected. "Oh. Okay, Ms Cookie, I'm Usher Raymond" he said. "The name does ring a bell," cookie said. "I'm sure it does," he said smiling charmingly. "so Mr Ray, want to weigh your opinions? I own a small recording label too, it is called bossy, we are all Bout our artists" she said. "I'm sure you are," the asher said. Seems like he had no interest and just wanted to be polite, she saw it, and she was embarrassed. "I will leave you to it," she said embarrassed and walked past the mixer room and out the door. Usher looked at her until she shut the door. "you ready?" The producer asked snapping him out of it. "Let's start from the bridge," he said.
