Episode 1.

At Bossy.

Cookie arrived at the studio, she was busy on her phone. "Hey Cookie," Porsha said. "Porsha get out of my face!" Cookie dismissed her. "You have a visitor waiting in your office, I was just tipping you off because you ain't got a PA no more!" Porsha said trying to keep up with Cookie's pace. Cookie was paying her no attention and clicking on her phone.
"why is the person already in my office? You let somebody in my office, are you stupid fool?" Cookie asked.

"Like I said Cookie, I was just doing you a favour--" "a favour? You work for me stupid" Cookie said. "Well, I've been promoted!" Porsha said. Cookie stopped in her tracks, she looked at her with the edge of her eye then tilted her head. "I'm sorry what?" Cookie asked with both her eyebrows lifted. "I - I was promoted to A&R!" Porsha said.

"By whom! How come I don't know about this?" Cookie asked. "Becky. It was Becky!" Porsha said grinning stupidly. "Porsha spell A&R!" Cookie said. "Huh!" Porsha was confused. "huh? So what you telling me is that Becky promoted you to a position you can't even spell?" Cookie asked. "I can cookie!" Porsha said grinning. "Porsha get off my face!" Cookie said walking towards her office "I can spell it cookie!" Porsha shouted standing in her position. Cookie raised her hand to dismiss her and then entered her office.

Her eyes met Giselle. "How did you get into my building?" Cookie asked Giselle. "They let me in!" Giselle said. "They just let you in? Just like that? (Giselle nodded. Cookie paused) I'm going to fire them. Stupid boys, what do you want Giselle?" Cookie asked leaning on her chair. "I need a job. Cookie I lost everything. I need a job. Anything!" Giselle said. Cookie let out a little laughter "what made you think I would hire you?" Cookie asked. "Cookie I'm begging you. I lost my reputation. I just need anything!" Giselle said.

"Anything?" Cookie asked. "Yes. Anything!" Giselle said. "I heard we running out of genitors, maybe I can speak to the cleaning department!" Cookie teased. "Thank you Cookie. Thank you!" She said walking towards her for a hug.

"Uh uh! Stay back. You look ashy, like you been blown by a wind, like they cremated your ass and you just walking dead, no honey stay back, it might be contagious!" Cookie said. Giselle paused. "Anything else?" Cookie asked. "I have this new artist!-" Giselle was still explaining. "OH thank you, bye! No ma'am thank you!" Cookie said. "Cookie he is amazing!" Giselle said. "Get out Giselle! And remember, I will be watching you like a holk" Cookie told her. Giselle was embarrassed, she walked out.

Later that day. Becky and Cookie had a meeting with the Empire board members.
In the boardroom.
The meeting was productive and beneficial to both companies. Lucious was quiet though. His eyes were on cookie, he just stole looks when she wasn't looking. He was thinking to himself

*why am I so stupid? Why do I keep letting this woman go, I need her, I want her, I miss her, goddamn it I love her!*

"Does that work for you, Mr Lyon ?" One board member asked. "Huh?" Lucious said drifting back to reality. They all realized he wasn't paying attention. "Sorry.. what?" He asked. "We think the Empire movie should air on national TV. Bossy will help Empire reach that goal, miss Lyon will negotiate a deal with OWN and BET. You will talk to Fox and Netflix." The board member explained. "Okay, I'm on it!" Lucious said then Looked at Cookie, their eyes met but then she looked away. They continued with the meeting talking about the financial situation and how Bossy and Empire will split it. After coming to an agreement the meeting was adjourned. Everybody got their stuff off the table and walked out. Cookie was still seating on her chair occupied with texts, she was clicking on her phone. Lucious waited for the last person to shut the door and then approached her. "Can you come over for dinner tonight?" Lucious asked with an unusually calm voice. She looked at him shocked by this gesture, she let out snorting laughter.
