Getting up from the couch, Lucious goes to open the door. "Whatchall doin back here?" Lucious questions, stepping to the side to let Hakeem and Tiana in. "We gotta talk to you and ma." Hakeem tells him, as all three of them make their way back into the living room.

Present day
They sat down. Cookie was standing on her feet already. She covered herself with the robe she was wearing. "What's going on, you can't already be taking my grandchildren, they still having fun with us" cookie said whinnying.
"No ma! We not here for them we here to talk to you and dad." Hakeem said and took Tiana's hand. "Oh Lord" Cookie said and sat down opposite them. "Spill before I get dizzy!" Cookie said. "Tiana is -" Hakeem said and looked at Tiana and smiled. "-Pregnant!" He said.
"Wait a minute what?" Lucious was shocked. He stood from the armchair he was seating then laughed hysterically. Cookie was quiet. "Isn't your stupid ass married to another girl. What's her name.. Maya?" Lucious likes to act like he forgot Maya's name.. his way to say she is not relevant. "Dad, yes I'm married. But I'm Divorcing her. I Finally wanna be with the girl of my dreams, the mother of my children, my ride or die, kinda like mom is to you" Hakeem said. Lucious and cookie looked at each other.
Cookie stood from her chair. "Like I am to your father? Boy..are you Stupid? You think Ms Booty shaking, Rihanna wannabe can carry the load I'm carrying?" Cookie asked. "The Load?" Lucious asked. "Rihanna wannabe, cookie seriously." Tiana said. "Booty shaking mom really?" Hakeem said and took Tiana's hand. "Let's go baby!" Hakeem told Tiana they were on their way out. Tiana stood in-front of Cookie.
"Cookie I am like a younger version of you, you can call me names all you want but we are the same, me and you are inlove with the same men who put us through a lot, we still go back because we love them. You of all people Cookie, should understand how this makes me feel" Tiana said and walked away.
"Tiana baby wait!" Cookie said calming down. They both stopped on their tracks and looked at her. cookie walked towards Lucious. "Baby you know I didn't mean it like that, please take your son out of here, I Wana talk to Tiana alone. Please" cookie told Lucious. He nodded. She pulled him into a quick kiss. He smiled and took Hakeem to his study.
Tiana and Cookie sat on the couch.
"I'm sorry okay, that was uncalled for" cookie said. Tiana shrugged. "You are Cookie Lyon. You can be mean we all know that" Tiana said. Cookie gasped. "Uh!" She said gasping. They both Chuckled.
"Baby you right about alot of things if not all. We are pretty much the same. Do you remember I sat you down the night Bella had a gun?" Cookie asked. "Yes!" Tiana said. "What did I say to you?" Cookie asked. "To do me, take care of me and my babies and let Hakeem do Hakeem and just hope he will catch up" Tiana said. Cookie smiled, she was impressed that Tiana remembered. "Do you think he is catching up?" Cookie asked. "I think he is growing up everyday, plus I can't just shut my baby daddy out, it is impossible!" Tiana said. "You really do love him don't you?" Cookie asked. "Uh cookie, that's just like asking you if you really love Lucious, it is obvious how much you do!" Tiana said. Cookie reached for Tiana's hand. "Baby girl I'm not hard on you because I like to be, I just don't think you know what this means, love, ride or die, kids, relationships that works and sometimes don't. It is a lot, it's too much. I just didn't want you to go through that mess" cookie said. "But to be honest. I'm so happy you pregnant. I need more grandkids" cookie said and giggle a little Tiana smiles. "Well To be honest I'm not sure about this, I mean he is married.. to a lun" Tiana finally said.
"Whatever it is Sweetie,we got you. The family is here for you.we got you. Come here!" Cookie said and hugged Tiana. "congratulations!" Cookie said pulling from the hug. "About my career-" Tiana jumped right into it. "Girl don't test me" cookie said. "Cookie I just Wana make sure you won't shut me out once I'm fat and bloated" Tiana said. Cookie laughed. "You mean like Eddy did? No honey, Both Bossy and Empire are your homes. You are family. I won't do that to you, you just take care of you and the baby and let me worry about the rest" cookie said. "Thank you Cookie." Tiana said. Cookie nodded.
