“So when are we gonna get remarried?” Mya asks, completely forgetting about the conversations she and Cookie had just yesterday. “As soon as you are released from the hospital, we’ll go to the courthouse, and get married, then we can start our own family.” Hakeem tells her with so much fake enthusiasm. At the mention of starting a family, Mya’s mood changes slightly. “Hakeem I can’t have kids.” She whispers, but Hakeem still hears her.
“Well we’ll figure something out.” Hakeem tells her getting up from his seat again. “I gotta go see my parents., but I’ll be back to see you tomorrow. I love you.” He forces out. “I love you too Keem.” Mya says. Hakeem leave the room, then makes his way to the elevator, then bask down to the first floor.
Four hours later. At Bossy Media.
Cookie is currently sitting in her office with Lucious and Tiana. Cookie couldn’t believe after all the years of Hakeem making stupid ass decisions, he was able to come up with with plan all alone. “So he’s basically gonna trick her into signing a prenup, then they gone get married again, then divorce before the baby’s born?” Cookie asks, while Lucious calls up his lawyers.
“Yep, and the sad part about it is, Bella actually told me to let Hakeem do it. Her words and I quote “TaTa if we don’t let daddy do this, then we’re stuck with that crybaby little girl forever”. You are rubbing off on my baby.” Tiana jokes, causing Cookie to role her eyes. “That’s grandma’s baby. Now how many months pregnant are you?” Cookie asks, changing the subject. “I’m almost four months, and I’m two weeks I find out what the gender is.” Tiana says, smiling wide and rubbing her belly.
“I just got off the phone with the lawyers, and Hakeem is gonna get her to sign the papers as soon, as soon as she gets out of the hospital.” Lucious says, walking back over to them. “Good, the sooner we get this over with, the better.” Cookie says, rubbing her temples. “I know baby, then once this is all over, we can start planning your desk wedding.” Lucious tells her, making smile, and Tiana smile as well. “Speaking of dream wedding, Tiana I want you to my bridesmaid, and I want Bella to be my flower girl.” Cookie tells her. Tiana nods her head, before getting up to head down to the studio.
“You really think she gone sign that fake ass record deal Lucious?” Cookie asks, once Tiana is out of sight. “Oh she’ll sign it baby, all she’s been wanting is a record deal, so she’ll sign it. The prenup will be the last page of the contract. All Hakeem has to do is convince her not to read it.” Lucious says, placing a kiss on the side of Cookie’s neck. “Okay, now let’s go home for lunch, I wantchu daddy.” Cookie seductively says.
Three days later.
Mya is now out of the hospital, and is bask at home, Hakeem as been with her every step of the way. He went and picks up the prenuptial agreement yesterday, now all Mya has to do is sign them. “Baby can you do me a favor?” Hakeem asks. “Sure baby anything. What is it.” Mya asks, sitting her phone down. “So I talked to a record company yesterday about them signing you, because my parents don’t want you at Empire anymore. They gave me a contract for you to sign, and I had Dave my lawyer to triple check everything and make sure it’s all legit. All you gotta do is sign.” Hakeem tells her.
“Oh my god Hakeem thank you thank you thank you!!!” Mya squeals, then hugs him tight, and kisses him all over his face. “I told you baby I was gone help you get your career off the ground, and I meant that.” Hakeem says, handing her the pen then flipping to the last page of the contract where the prenup is on.
Without any hesitation, Mya signs Evernote she needs to, without even birthing to look at it for herself. She has no clue, she just signed her marriage away, and lost her career that hasn’t even started her. Dumb ass. Hakeem thinks to himself. “When are we gonna go down to the courthouse?” Mya asks, after signing the papers. “We can go first thing in the morning baby.” Hakeem tells her, fake smiling again. “Okay babe. I’m so happy.” Mya says smiling from ear to ear.
