S08E02: Crazy For Love

Another week later
Cookie decided to ignore Lucious again and to be able to do it without feeling guilty she took a business trip to The Bahamas for a week. she asked the boys to check on him.

Hakeem walked into his apartment and found Tiana arguing with some chick her face he can't recognize. They kept quiet immediately. "What's going on here, who's this?" He asked getting agitated.
"My friend Melanie!" Tiana said. "we go a way back. You can call me Mel." The lady said letting out her hand. Hakeem looked her up and down. He couldn't tell if she was homeless or in a band.

Hakeem then looked at his wife. "Are you sure you okay?" He asked. Tiana nodded nervously. "She's fine!" Mel said. "Excuse me, I wasn't talking to your punk ass!" Hakeem said. Mel gasped. "I'm talking to my wife. You okay babe?" He asked again. "Y-yeah I'm fine!" Tiana said. "Good. Time for us to go to my pops." He said. "Oh yeah. Let me get the babies and my purse, be right back." Tiana said walking away.

"Babies? The Tiana I knew didn't like kids. She hated them. You turned her into your baby making machine, just pushing babies out every damn day. She deserves better than you or the damn Empire influence, she needs to be with the band and me again where she was happy, before you and your family came alone" Mel said

"Are you done?" Hakeem asked. "No!" Mel said. "You can be done out that door" Hakeem picked a helmet and handed it to her and pushes her out the door. "next time I see you harassing my wife. You going to come up missing, ask about me bitch I'm Hakeem Lyon. Leave my family alone. Just because you are a sad ass with no one and never tested a Dick in your fucking life doesn't mean you gets to act like a bitch,my wife don't owe you nothing, go get some D up your virgin Pussy" Hakeem said shutting the door.

That night
They went to check on Lucious. Same old same old.
Then they went back to their place after dinner.

It's been two days since Cookie left. Lucious was feeling her absence, he was getting very emotional when she wasn't around.
Third day:
He stopped smoking and drinking.
Fourth day:
He took a shower regularly.
Fifth day:
He ate in the dining room. Juanita was happy to see him.
6th say:
He walked on the dining room table for breakfast. Juanita had his favorite. "Today I had your special. You will love it" Juanita said smiling from ear to ear. He nodded.
7th day:
He showered, ate and went back to his spot, he was mad that even after so much progress he forced out of him Cookie was on no show.
He groaned and took the bottle ready to drink his whole life away. "If you put that down and come to bed with me, I will stay. If you drink and refuses to talk to me or touch me as your wife, I'm leaving Lucious, I'm exhausted. This is exhausting" Cookie said from the entry door. He turned and looked at her. She was leaning on the door frame her hand on the doorknob ready to shut it and leave.

"I'm your wife Lucious, I understand you went through a lot the passed few months, I've been here for you, supporting you, but you don't act like you need me, you push me and everyone else away, I'm sick of it. I want my life back, I want my husband back. If he is not ready to come out of you then fine I'm packing my bags and I'm leaving this house and I will never come back. The choice is yours Lucious. The choice is yours" she said giving him an ultimatum.

He looked at her, like he was back. Then looked at the bottle in his hand. He looked out the window ignoring her again. "Oh okay. Fine!" She said shutting the door.

She has her bags ready and unpacked from her trip. She picked her apartment keys and headed out. "He is coming around Ms Cookie. He is making progress, please stay." Juanita begged. "He makes progress only when I'm not in his presence, clearly he doesn't needs me here. I'm just taking a few things Juanita. We need a fresh air from each other. I will be back!" Cookie said. Juanita nodded. "Don't give up on him!" She said. "I won't!" Cookie said. She walked out and shut the door.
