It was basically almost midnight and tomorrow was the weekend "aight bitch clean your room for Levi and re-watch attack on titan" i said to myself. I don't know why but I always see anime characters I look up to, or simp for as my motivation to do things. Like Levi wold want me to be clean or Bakugo would want me to wake up early.

I cleaned my room, vacuumed the house ,made dinner then put my brother to sleep. I heard we were gonna have a practice match tomorrow but I didn't hear who cuz my mom wanted me to pick up  B/n  from school as she couldn't. "guess ill find out tomorrow." I mumbled to myself as I let gravity overtake me and drop myself on the couch. Then I started re-watching eren's mom die continuously and laugh at it like a psychopath. No seriously I've watched this scene so many times and laugh.

you were still laying on the couch finished with an episode of attack on titan about to click on the next one. diiiinggggggg. The doorbell rang. You looked at the clock and saw the it was 11:00 at night.

"Its really late who could be here?" You discreetly went up to the door and looked through the peephole. you saw it was your teammate and friend. "kanea" you said quietly as you opened the door. "DUDE TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH" she exclaimed  as she barged into your house. You saw Akari walking behind her and let her in. "what are you guys doing here? Its 11:00 and we have a practice match tomorrow."

It turned out that kanea had some big news for me and Akari just wanted to see my new house. We had moved in our new year break before my high school days started. It was quite a big house. About 4 floors if you include the well cleaned attic. We have a training room and an office and all that other shit. Were not really rich, my dad just likes to buy big houses. Oh and they were staying the night.

"Anyway have I got something to tell you" Kanea said seriously as she sat down on my bed. But as soon as I closed my bedroom door. She got up looking really excited. "Y/N WERE GONNA GO AGAINST THE KING TOMORROW." I looked at her dumbfounded. "who?" I questioned. Both Akari and Kanea looked at me as if I was the dumbest bitch in the world. "You seriously don't know who the king is." She said standing up straight then slouching again. "You know.. the king of the court!" she exclaimed acting as if I just woke up from a coma. nope. no matter how hard I thought I couldn't seem to understand who she was talking about. 

"he goes to Karasuno! That's the team were going against tomorrow!" Kanea exclaimed desperate for me to realise who she was talking about. "Karasuno. That's the school shouyo goes to" I said putting a hand on my chin. "Were going against shouyo and his team then" I said quietly. "THATS NOT THE POINT YOU DUMB BITCH"

Finally after ages Akari clarified that "the kind of the court is kageyama Tobio" she said crossing her arms at Kanea. Kageyama Tobio..  My cheeks flushed a little remembering what his beautiful face looked like. "Shouyo goes to the same school as kageyama." I mumbled a little too loudly. Kanea looked at me with a dumbfounded expression. "AHAH so you do know him!" She said pointing a finger at me like she found shit worth millions. "wait..." I whispered loudly. Then I started freaking out. "HIS NAME IS THE KING OF THE COURT?!" 

TIMESKIP AGAIN CUZ IM LAZY:

"so basically the reason you want me to meet him is because his name is the 'king' and I'm the 'queen'" I said hesitantly pointing at myself. Kanea nodded violently. "Well I have kind of crossed paths with him once of twice. That's why I know him... BUT I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS THE KING AHHHHH" I freaked out. This was the first time in so long kanea and Akari have seen any other emotion other than either: confusion, anger, bluntness, seriousness or any other emotion related to them. 

EARLIER TODAY IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON:

Kags pov:

I was lined up next to my team surrounding coach Ukai while he was telling us about a practice match we were having.  Apparently its with a girls team. Coach Ukai continued to explain why we were having a match with a girls team and sawn. But then a loud "OOIUGHHHHHHH" distracted us. We turned to look at the short tangerine with a surprised face and sparkles in his eyes. "Hinata..what's wrong?"  Sugawara our vice captain asked." D-Did you say Akuma highbriddo?!" He asked eager to know if he heard right. "uh-yea I did ... why hinata?" Sensei Takeda asked rubbing the back of his head. "W-Well ... My best friend goes there! And she's  in the girls volleyball team! So I can see her tomorrow!!!!" He shouted jumping up and down. "Really now?" Daichi asked genuinely but you could see he seemed a little more competitive for some reason. 

Soon everyone started asking questions about her. After a few questions. Ennoshita asked the big question "Alright but. What's her name?"   "Y/n L/n!!" He said cheerfully. Hearing that name made me choke on the water I was gulping down. I slapped my chest as I finally caught my breath. The team noticed this and asked if I was okay. I said I was fine but that just made that idiot Tsukishima smirk. "oh? Does the king know this Y/N L/n the shrimp speaks of?" Tsukishima said. Everyone's attention was on me now curious of my answer. "I came across her when I went against hinata in middle school and a few weeks ago I saw her at the park with her brother. She was teaching him to play volleyball so I helped them a bit. But that's it I don't really know her." I said calmly. "HAH?! But y/n's never talked about you." Hinata said quietly. "She doesn't have to talk about everyone to you shrimp." I said a little annoyed that he was doubting me. I lifted the bottle to my mouth one more to drink some water. 

"Then I guess you know her nickname is 'Queen of the court'! OK now I completely spat out my water. What hinata said made everyone freeze. I was just absolutely shocked. I looked at the orange shrimp to see he had a genuine smile on his face. He wasn't joking. "H-hinata.. did you say Queen of the court?" Nishinoya senpai went up to him like he was about to jump him. "yep!" He nodded happily. "And she's a setter just like bakayama!" My mouth completely dropped open. There's a Queen of the court.. I thought looking down. I was legit the meaning of confusion and shock in this moment. "She's really talented!" 

That's right, she is.  I saw her set to hinata in middle school. it was  so perfect.. just like her.  "hmmm? oh look the kings in shock." Tsukishma pointed at me snickering. I glared at him and looked at daichi. He looked really surprised. But he knows when hinata brags about how talented someone is, there the real deal. It was like he could tell I was saying 'she is talented since iv seen her set'. From that he knew this wasn't a joke practice match. Were gonna have to work hard. "Alright this is no joke! Lets work hard and win against hinata's friend! If we can win against the Queen.. Well then. maybe the queen can acknowledge our king! "Hearing that made me a little flustered. C'mon you can do this just work hard and you'll get your queen.   Daichi motivated as he put a hand out to me. I took his hand and lifted myself up from the ground. I don't understand how that was our motivation  but whatever.. it seemed to get everyone working.
