OLIVER'S POV

The compartment we found was near the back of the train. It was the same as every other compartment, the only difference being it was filled with people I loved to be around. Sure, I liked being friendly, but sometimes I just wanted to be around people who actually understood the real me.

We all sat down except Fred, who stated " I've got to go find Angelina, I've got loads to tell her." Oi Fred, he has always been obsessed with Angelina Johnson. "Alright, go have fun snogging her then!" Replied Michelle.

Ah, Michelle Smith. My best friend and all time crush since 1st year. She's just so beautiful. The way her Long, blonde hair rests on her shoulders, and her smile lights up the room just captivates me every time. Her ocean blue eyes leave me breathless when they stare back into mine. She's absolutely stunning. Katie noticed me staring at 'Chelle and coughed. I looked up at her, blushed, then started to get out my Quidditch Plan book. I had loads of planning to do if Gryffindor was going to win this season.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw 'Chelle's expression light up at the sight of the plan book. She loved Quidditch maybe even more than I did, if that's even possible. I looked over at her and asked "Want to help me lead our team to victory?" She beamed at me and said "Is that even a question? We have to beat that barbaric Slytherin team to get the house cup!" Godrick, her smile was amazing. "Well let's get started, then!" I stated. George and Katie stood up. George winked at me and stated "Katie and I are going to take a stroll down the train. See you all when we get to Hogsmeade!" I grinned. "Alright George. Take care of our Katie!" Michelle stated jokingly.

Finally, we were alone. She looked up at me and blushed. We stayed there like that for ages. Finally breaking the state, I asked her " So, our first match is against Hufflepuff. They have Cedric as a seeker, but we have Potter." she pondered that for a moment, then stated " Yes. All we need to do is to give ourselves a cushion lead to give Potter room to work his magic." She was right. Being a smith, she had loads of family members who played quidditch. In fact, her older brother Braden was a seeker for none other than the Scottish team. She was also my chaser for Gryffindor. "Okay, so we need the twins to distract the rest of Hufflepuff while you weave in and out of the center. The only thing that could stop us would be if Diggory pulls the same stunt he did last year." The last match of the season last year ended within 7 minutes. Diggory, the stupid nitwit, caught the snitch within the first seven minutes of the game, giving us no time to get a lead for Harry Potter. "Oh, he won't. Potter will catch it first. I saw him training at the Weasley's when I went to say hello. He looks loads faster than he was last year." she stated excitedly. "That's really good for us then," I replied "gives us plenty of opportunities for Harry to get back at Cedric for that seven minute snag!" We always got excited talking about quidditch. We both loved it almost as much as we loved being around our friends. the train signal sounded, time to change into robes and start preparing for arrival! "Well, shall we?" I asked her and offered my arm. "We shall, Oliver." She stated and took my arm. Man, when am I going to get the courage to ask this girl out?
