MICHELLE'S POV:

After I passed out with Oliver in the common room Wednesday night, I couldn't help but grin to myself at the very thought of him. He treats me so well, and never makes me feel as though I am second best, which happened in my life loads when it came to my family. I know my family loves me, but I had always felt second best to my brother instead of feeling equal. It felt as though my parents always pushed me aside to cater to his needs. Which was fine, I had always been an independent minded girl, it just was hard feeling left out all the time.

The next two days went by in a blur, planning for quidditch and attending classes, but our toughest match of the season was up, and Slytherin was our opponent. We were ready, judging by our relatively lengthy practice yesterday which consisted of running through new plays that Oliver and I had come up with.

It was breakfast time in the Great Hall, and all I could think about was how prepared we were for the match. I am not one to get nervous, but a lot was at stake for me this game. My rival since first year, Samantha Bishop, was chaser for the Slytherin team and I had a feeling she was planning my demise, as she was staring daggers into my eyes from across the hall. I really don't know why she hated me, I had really only spoken to her once. The conversation was about my brother, and how I could never live up to his reputation at Hogwarts.

Oliver saw where my eyes were directed towards and spoke rather quietly " Don't let her get to you, love. She doesn't even have half the brains or looks that you do. By the way, did I tell you how stunning you look in your quidditch robes?" I smiled and heard George mutter from across the table "Blimey, mate. That's all you have been talking about for the past twenty minutes we have been sitting here." And we all busted out into laughter as Oliver's face turned redder than the crimson on our uniforms.

I Had no idea what was in store for me on the quidditch pitch today, but I knew with my friends and teammates by my side, it couldn't be that bad. Right?
