MICHELLE"S POV:

A couple weeks have passed since that day on the train. I've got to admit, I am so confused! I don't know what he's feeling: does he like me? Is he just being friendly? I'll have to wait and see I guess. I was walking down the stairs with Katie heading to the first practice of the season. she must have been able to read my mind, because she looked at me with a small smile and said "Stop overthinking things. You'll find out if he likes you or not soon enough! quit sulking around drowning in your thoughts!" In times like this I really loved Katie. she knew how to make me snap out of it! " Alright. you're right. I need to focus on quidditch and just be myself. if he likes me, he likes me! I'll find out soon enough." I replied, giving her a smile. " There's the best friend I know and love!" she joked, making us both laugh.

OLIVERS POV:

Bloody hell. Two weeks have passed since that first day, and I can't get this girl out of my head for Merlin's sake! Every five minutes I catch myself, or Fred and George catch me, staring at her every breakfast, lunch and dinner. I got up from the breakfast table and started heading down to the Pitch. "First practice of the season boys." I said to the twins. Fred turned to George and said "How hard do you recon it's gonna be?". "Ah I dunno. Wood? Are you gonna kill us on the first practice?" George asked me and I laughed. "It depends if any of you lot have practiced over summer! And from what I hear, it's only Potter, Bell, 'Chelle, and I who've practiced!" I stated, looking forward to seeing if someone would pass out because of the easy drills I'd be putting them through today.

" Hang on Freddie, did he just call Smith 'Chelle?" George asked, smiling at Fred. Fred grinned back. "Blimey, he did! Called everyone else by last name. Can't get her out of your head, can you Ollie?" He asked. Damn it. Oh well, it's not like they didn't already know about my obsessive crush on 'Chelle. "You know, I can't. She's just so beautiful, ya know?" I replied to Fred. It was the truth. They both looked at me and smiled. "You know what?" Fred asked "I feel the same way about Angelina. I can't stop looking at her either." Oh bloody hell. Fred has been in love with her for ages! Finally, he admits it. George looks around to make sure no one is around. "Alright then I have a confession as well. I'm in love with Katie." He half whispered, looking embarrassed. WHAT??? I thought. I grinned at him and said "Damn, we're all paired up with all three of our girl best friends!" Leaving both the twins laughing when we walked through the door of the changing room.

MICHELLES POV

Katie, Angelina, and I were the first ones on the pitch. We sat there waiting for the boys to show up, being they were always late. Angelina broke the silence and said " You know what? I should just tell you girls. I think I have feelings for Fred!" Katie and I squealed with delight. We've been waiting for this confession for ages! "I knew it!" We both screamed. Katie then scanned the pitch and said " Alright fine. I have a huge crush on George." WHAT IN THE NAME OF?!?? Angelina and I grinned and she said " It's about Damn time!" They both looked at me expectantly. I just smiled and said "Alright alright! I think Katie already knows, but Oliver. I've had a crush on him for ages." I said. They looked behind me and grinned. Then a thick Scottish accent that made me go weak at the knees spoke. "Had a crush on who, 'Chelle? This is very interesting stuff!" Oliver said and grinned at me. "None of your beeswax, Oliver Wood." I replied giggling. "Alright then," he winked.

"Let's get them to start their drills. You take the beaters and Potter while I take the remaining chasers, since you and I already went over this on the train ride here." He said and I nodded. "Let's go boys!" I yelled at them from across the pitch. "Better be ready to get your arse whipped!" I said looking straight at Oliver. He smiled and said " There you go co-captain. THATS what I'm talking 'bout!" He said and winked, taking the girls to the other side of the pitch. I might, just might, have a shot with the Gryffindor keeper.

OLIVER'S POV

I led the girls over to the other side of the pitch. I really don't have anything new to teach them, but I wanted to talk to them about Michelle. I know I know. How dare me, taking quality time for practice away just to talk about a girl I'm trying to ask out. Katie broke my train of thought by asking "So Wood, what are we learning today?" Angelina nodded and asked "Yeah. Anything new?" I took a deep breath and said "No. Actually I wanted to ask you a couple questions about Michelle. I know you both are going to look at me like I've gone mad, but I'm crazy for her. Have been since 1st year. I can't get her out of my head." Katie and Angelina looked at eachother and grinned from ear to ear. Bloody hell. "Okay. We will totally help you out asking her out!" Angelina said. Katie grinned and said "Especially because all she talks about besides quidditch is you!" And with that, I said a quick thank you and put them to work.

MICHELLE'S POV

Working, or ordering, the boys to get them into shape for the game was pretty fun, if I do say so myself. About 3/4 through the workout, I gave them a break. Fred and George decided that this was a good time to question me about Oliver.

"So, have you and Oliver hung out lately?" Fred asked. George added "Any flirting we should know about?" I just rolled my eyes and laughed at the typical twin behavior. "No, although he has winked at me loads of times in the past week now that I think about it." I replied casually. I don't want to express too much excitement because, well, these are the Weasley twins we're talking about here. "Merlin! About time he starts flirting!" George replied. Fred grinned and said "We were starting to get tired of him talking about you more than he talks about quidditch!" I laughed and asked "Really? He talks about me more than quidditch?" They both said in unison "Loads. It's nonstop, really." I blushed and laughed. "Well I hope he asks you out soon. It's getting rather annoying, really." George said right before Oliver called the practice.

We ended with our normal meeting, with a good job speech and see you Saturday at 9:00 in the morning for warm ups. Fred left with Angelina, winking at me as he left. George offered to take Katie on a stroll, and Potter left to go meet Ginny Weasley at the astronomy tower. That left me with Oliver. He turned toward me and asked "Would you fancy a stroll around the grounds, then hanging out at dinner Ms. Smith?" Did he just ask me to accompany him to dinner? Lord yes! "I would be delighted to, Mr. Wood!" Then we both busted out laughing. I loved his laugh, it was so cute. "But seriously, please come walk around the grounds? I have a couple things I want to talk to you about." I smiled and replied "Of course. Where to first?" He looked at me and smiled. "How about the lake?"
