MICHELLE'S POV

After I saw Oliver, I spent the remainder of my day in the Library studying for this bloody project. I think it really was intended to be simple, McGonagall did not want us stressing right before the holidays, which was one of the reasons why I loved her so much. She was really like a mother figure to me, not that my biological mum and I weren't close. McGonagall just always knew when I needed sternness, or when I needed kindness which wasn't always the case for my mom. I started to drift away from my thoughts, when I smelled fresh turkey wafting through the library.

I panicked and looked at the big clock on the north wall, and saw that it was 5:28, and I quickly gathered my things and rushed to meet Oliver.

OLIVER'S POV

As I watched her gracefully make her way toward me, I couldn't help but smile. No matter what she does, she takes my breath away. I extended my hand to her and she took it, as we started heading to our table to quickly grab a bite to eat before our project.

I squeezed Chelle's hand pretty tight once we crossed the threshold, because immediately all eyes were on us and I know how anxious she gets. She was always used to her brother getting all the attention in public, being a famous quidditch player and all.

As was sat down next to our friends and started filling our plates, I noticed my owl flying briskly towards me with a letter, and at this moment I was so thankful that Chelle sat across from me instead of next to me. As the letter dropped into my hands, I immediately recognized the handwriting. Mum had sent me the conformation for our travel arrangements Tuesday, and I had something really special planned. I could feel the twins' eyes over my shoulder as I opened it. The letter read:

"Hello, Ollie dear! Your father and I are so excited that you and Chelle are spending the holidays with us! I have the house all cleaned and the guest room ready for her, and I hope she will like it! As for your request with the private train, I believe we can make that happen. I hope the ride won't take you too long, as you will be crossing Scotland to get home! Please make sure to treat her the way I taught you to treat her. She's a keeper, love. See you both so soon!    -Mum"

I smiled ear to ear. I loved my mum with all my heart. She really was the sweetest lady on the planet. I looked up to find my girl with a confused look on her face. "Mum says hello and that she can't wait to see you. Just letting me know that our travel plans, there's nothing to worry about love." I explained to her. The twins, having read the whole letter over my shoulder both looked at each other and simultaneously said "Wicked!". I just laughed at them and shot a wink at Chelle.

After we had finished eating, we bided our friends goodbye and headed to McGonagall's office four our dreaded project.

MICHELLE'S POV

We entered our favorite teacher's office to immediately greeted with a warm hug and smiles all around. I braced myself because I knew that before we could start our project, she would surely want all the details about mine and Ollie's relationship. As if on cue she stated " So when were you going to tell me that you were going to ask out my Michelle? Did it ever cross your mind to fill me in?" She chuckled at Oliver, as he filled her in with all the details and brought her up to speed.  She turned to me and said " I'll have you know that Albus and I have had a bet placed since your third year here that you were going to end up together. He said after graduation but I knew better!" I was honestly so shocked, and I just turned to Oliver and laughed for at least three minutes straight.

After we got her all caught up she told us to go ahead with the project. We were presented a Toucan, Owl, Labrador,  Tabby Cat, and a Pig.  Oliver and I split up the duties: I took the Labrador,  Tabby Cat and Toucan while he took the rest, since he has had the most  success with pigs.

I successfully transfigured The Labrador into a couch, which we picked because of the softness of the coat. The Tabby cat was turned into a little lounge chair, and Oliver turned the pig into a nice coffee table. Next was the owl, which proved to be quite difficult for Oliver, but he managed to turn it into a cool lamp. For our final touch, we decided to turn the toucan into a water goblet, just like our first ever lesson in McGonagall's class.

When we were finished, Oliver pulled me into a hug as our teacher examined our amazing work.  She looked quite pleased as she sat back and complimented us on our choice of furniture, and gave us top marks and sent us on our way.

Walking back to the common room, Oliver's hand in mine, I couldn't help but feel relieved that we had gotten that out of the way. Oliver appeared to have read my mind and squeezed my hand as we walked through the portrait and into the common room. "I am so glad that we got that done, now we can focus on our favorite thing!" he said as he pulled me down on the couch with him. Immediately engaged in quidditch planning , the couch soon proved to be majorly uncomfortable for me, so I sunk down to the floor with my back on the seat of the couch.

About five minutes later, Oliver handed me the planning book as he joined me on the floor, head in my lap. I couldn't help but smile down at him, as his sudden need for attention made me giggle. Holding the plan book with one hand and messing with his hair with the other, I began discussing strategy for the game Saturday.  I suddenly noticed that instead of hearing him reply to me he was silent, and I looked down to find him fast asleep. I moved my hand to his chest, and he sleepily grabbed it and interlocked our fingers.

Instead of waking him and going off to bed myself, I just sat the book down, and whispered to him, knowing he couldn't hear me, "I love you so much, Oliver Wood. " After that, I just sat there and drifted off to sleep with the love of my life softly snoring in my lap.
