AMELIA
4:00 am
"Amelia, it's time to get up." I felt Andrea shake me. I groaned and tried to sit up. It's still dark outside. I talked to Andrea about my relationship with Benny last night, she didn't seem to care. All she said was, "As long as you're happy."
"Your bags are downstairs, go get ready." She said leaving my room.
"Alright." I said whispering. I was still really tired.
After eating a little snack I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I wore a white tank top (cropped) and light washed shorts.
When I got ready I was downstairs packing things that I might need during the flight in a small backpack, Andrea stood next to me awkwardly.
"Umm... Now that you're growing up and you have a boyfriend." She said walking over to the kitchen. Opening a familiar cabinet, she took out the pills. My face began to warm up and my heart started beating fast.
Nervously chuckling she said, "You should start taking these, everyday. You know, just in case." She didn't even hand them to me, she stuffed them in my suitcase.
"Oh, don't you think I'm a little too young?" I asked as I looked at her trying not to make eye contact.
"Just take them once every day. You'll feel more...happier." Andrea didn't sound like her normal self. She began taking my stuff outside into the car.
"It's not even time to go." I chuckled. She's acting weird.
"The earlier the better." She raise her voice at me.
"Damn, calm down." I said in my mind.
"Yeah, I guess." I walked to the car.
"Let's go pick up Benny." She sounded serious.
I couldn't even close the door, she just stared driving immediately.

After picking up Benny from his house we headed to the airport. Andrea seemed to be rushing.
"Is it cold?" Benny asked.
"It's summer?" I responded.
"Yeah, but I thought in Seattle it was cold and it rained a lot."-Benny
I chuckled looking out the window.
"What?" He elbowed me.
"It doesn't rain during the summer."-Me
"How is it like then?" Benny was asking so much stuff.
"Sunny like here. But not as dry." I said as the airport came in sight.
"Here." Andrea stopped the car in front of the entrance that said the name of the airline we were taking.
"I'll see ya." I said getting off the car, opening the trunk.
"Thanks." Benny said.
"Yeah, bye." She said with a attitude.
I looked at Benny with a dirty look. He shrugged.
After getting our bags I closed the trunk and Andrea just left without saying anything.
"She's acting weird." I said starting to walk inside the airport.
"Woah, it's so big." He said looking around.
"You've never traveled huh." I watched at how admired he looked.
He shook his head.
"Hmm... first we need to check in." I took his hand we began doing all the steps you do in a airport.

Getting finished with handing over our luggage and passing through security, we sat in front of our boarding gate. Our flight was at 6am and it was around 5:40. The sky has started to become a light blue. Me and Benny looked through a wedding magazine as we waited to get on our plane.
"That's a nice dress." I mumbled pointing to a black wedding dress.
"It's black." He said.
I gave him a annoyed look.
Being sassy he says, "Aren't wedding dresses supposed to be white."
Closing the magazine I told him, "I never said I wanted to use it for my wedding." He had a regretting look on his face.
"You wanna get married or what." I opened magazine back up, bringing it close to my face, blocking him away.
He didn't say anything just chuckled.
"Dork." I mumbled.
"Does Andrea like me?" He asked nervously.
I snorted thinking he meant it in another way.
Realizing what I was laughing at he also stared laughing and knudged me."No, not like that."
Mocking me he says, "Dork."
He took away the magazine, "Get this outta here." putting the magazine next to him so I won't get a hold of it.
I did a raspberry at him.
He sticked his tongue at me.
I did it back. At this point we were just play fighting with each other. A few adults gave us weird looks.
"LA to Seattle, aboard now." A lady said a few minutes later.
"Let's go." I stood up and walked over to the entrance of the plane. Me and Benny were holding hands, making even more people give us dirty looks. We gave the lady our tickets and we walked through a little hallway that lead us inside the plane. Our seat was right next to one of the planes wings. Benny sat closest to the window and I sat next to him. There were only three seats and no one else sat next to me. Not many people had boarded, Benny noticed that the plane was kinda lonely.
"I guess people don't like Seattle." He whispered.
I scoffed and pushed him lightly. He was acting silly today.

After settling in, the plane started to shake.
"Don't worry it's normal." I told him. It started to get pretty boring and people were sleeping. Benny stared out the window. I got closer to him, resting my chin on his shoulder, so I could also look outside.
"So cool, right." I said looking at all the city lights.
"Yeah..." He sighed. I felt what he was feeling. When I flew to LA in June, the only thing I did was stare at the window, I didn't sleep at all. It relived all my stress and worries. I began to feel sleepy, so I laid my head on Benny's lap as he played with my hair, then I fell asleep.

"Amelia, look." Benny patted me lightly. I sat up to see what happened.
As I stretched I say, "What is it." When I looked at him the sun rays shone strongly.
Chuckling he said, "Good Morning." I smiled at him then leaned closer to the window.
"Woah." I looked at the pink clouds and clear blue sky. As I looked down I saw green fields that seemed familiar.
"We're almost here." I said excitedly.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you are ten minutes away from your destination." The same lady from earlier said through the intercom.

BENNY
I loved seeing Amelia this happy. I wonder how it feels like being away from your family for a long time. Especially, losing your mom. I'm lucky that hasn't happened to me.

Once we went through the same steps like earlier in the airport, Amelia began looking for her aunt and cousin. She looked overwhelmed by how many people there was. I expected another panic attack, but she handled it pretty good. She was holding my hand this whole time but suddenly let go and ran to this girl that seemed lost also. Suddenly I see Amelia hug this girl, who is definitely Wednesday. She looked similar to the picture Amelia showed me, black short hair and pale skin. I think pale skin runs in the family. I walked closer to Amelia. There was this other lady who looked older that was hugging her, forming a group hug.

AMELIA
I separated the hug between me, Wednesday and my auntie Julia.

WEDNESDAY
"Umm... Auntie this is my boyfriend Benny." I say.
"Nice, to meet you." Benny and my aunt shook hands.
"My pleasure." She said smiling.
Wednesday smirked and mouthed, "He's cute." I smiled and winked. She then made her way to Benny to shake his hand.
"Wednesday." She said trying to sound scary. Benny was definitely scared of her.
"Well, let's get going." My auntie said, always giving good vibes.
