Jades POV
It's been a week. A week and I haven't said one word to Perrie. I have nothing to say to her, sure she's made small comments like "did I make dinner" or "is there any toilet paper" and "goodnight" from time to time
The only thing I would reply with is a careless shrug. And why is she asking me questions like if I made dinner, ask your "friend" that you went to dinner with what's for dinner.
I mean it's not just that we don't talk, she's never home anymore. She says that she's out with Emmy working on a new project. I don't believe that cause Liam told me that him and Emmy are trying to spend these last couple days together because she's going back home.
Right now I was sitting at the island in the kitchen, finishing up a chapter in my book. I have to say that so far I'm proud of what I've done. I've been talking to Liam about it, he says that some lady comes into his book shop all the time and she's just starting off, but it's possible that when it's finished I could get my book published and she will represent me. That's probably the best thing I've heard all week.
"Jade do you want a drink?" Niall says snapping me out of my thoughts. I stop typing and I take my glasses off as I look up at him.
"What?"
"I said do you want a drink?" He asked again and I raise my eyebrow. He was standing next to the blender with fruits and different drinks on the counter. I hadn't even noticed he was in here.
"I didn't realize you were making drinks" I say standing up and walking over towards him. "I could defiantly use a drink" I sigh
"I told you I was making drinks" he chuckles pouring me a glass
"You did?"
"Yeah" he chuckles as he pours me a drink in the glass and hands it over to me. "Are you saying this whole time I was in here talking to you, you weren't listening"
"You were talking to me?" I ask taking a sip of the drink. It was fruity but defiantly strong.
"That hurts Jade" he laughs as he comes over and takes a seat right next to me. I sigh and close my laptop.
"I'm sorry Niall I'm just so-"
"I get it" he interrupts me. "You have a lot going on and you're working on your book as well and it's just so much for you to take on, you don't know how to balance everything and you're hurt as well" he explains and I raise my eyebrow.
"W-Wow that's exactly how I'm feeling" I chuckle a bit. "Maybe you should be a consoler instead of a teacher" I mumble and set my drink down. I look down at the counter and play with the little charm hanging off my phone. Apart of me wants to call Perrie and ask if she's okay but another part of me says I shouldn't.
I think it's odd how just a couple days ago we were fine, perfect even, but in just a few short days it's like we are strangers or just two girls who don't like each other for no reason but you kinda want to be their friend and it feels weird.
"Jade" Niall says and I look up at him, my eyes watering up a little. I hadn't even noticed.
"Do you wanna go out for a little bit"
"And do what?" I ask
"Let's just walk around, maybe it will get your mind off things, how about we head down to the store and pick up some Christmas decorations and decorate the house, on me" he offers. For a minuet I just bite my lip thinking if I wanna do that. I do love decorating.
"But Perrie-"
"C'mon I'm not going to sit here and let you mope around all day, you can worry about her later, when ever she decides to come home and be a good girlfriend, until then it's time to get you out of here"
