a day in the life

Dessert...

Kya knocked anxiously on the door to Lin's apartment. This is so exciting. I've never been to Lin's apartment. Now that I think about it, I don't think anyone has. 

Lin swung the door open, "Hey," she said, with a smile. She grabbed Kya by the waist and pulled her inside, shutting the door simultaneously. Lin pulled Kya into a kiss as she locked the door with her free hand. 

They pulled away slowly, Lin still holding Kya. "That was one hell of a greeting, Chief," Kya was beaming up at Lin.

Lin gave her a lopsided smile and righted Kya. She walked to the kitchen and began stirring a pot of something that smelt delicious. Kya walked to the kitchen counter, watching Lin from behind. Lin wore a white tank top, and she still had on her uniform bottoms. She admired the chief's toned, muscular back and arms through the thin, white material, grinning as she remembered how Lin just embraced her with them. Kya leaned on the counter, resting her chin on the heel of her hand. Spirits, she is hot. Kya bit her lip.

Lin could feel Kya staring from her place at the stovetop. She began plating the food, and turned back towards Kya, holding their dinner in her hands. "What?" Lin commented on Kya's staring.

"Nothing, you're just beautiful."

Lin's heart fluttered. Beautiful was not a word past love interests had used to describe her. It was always strong, or independent, never beautiful. It made her feel a swarm of butterflies in her stomach, "Thanks," she mumbled. She set one plate down in front of Kya and the other in front of herself. 

Kya gasped, "Lin... You didn't!"

"Yes, I did."

In front of her was a water tribe specialty, made from scratch. In fact, it was her favorite meal, five-flavor soup. Kya hadn't had this meal in years, mostly because the ingredients were so hard to find outside of the Southern Water Tribe. Her mouth was agape as she took in the aroma of the soup.

"I had to substitute some of the ingredients, but it should be pretty close to what you used to have at home."

Kya thrust over the small table and pulled Lin into a hug, "Thank you so much Lin. This means a lot," Tears formed at the corners of her eyes. The surprise was just so considerate and heart-warming.  Kya pulled away and sat back down again. She immediately began shoveling the soup into her mouth. She told Lin about how she used to eat this all the time back home, and how it tasted just like her mom's cooking.

"I hope it tastes like hers, it is her recipe after all," Lin said, absent-mindedly.

Kya's eye widened, "You got my mom's recipe?!"

Lin looked up now, "Yeah, I called her to ask for it."

"What?! I have been asking for this recipe for years, and she would never hand it over, but to you, an earthbender who calls her out of the blue, she gives it to you," Kya gestured with her spoon in her hand, sending flicks of soup all over the room.

"Well, I told her I wanted to do something for you and that I remembered it was your favorite meal, so she gave it to me."

"I can't believe this..." Kya said in disbelief, "She wouldn't give it to her own daughter."

"Maybe she wanted me as a daughter instead, I mean, Katara always did like me," Lin teased. 

"Please, she probably only gave it to you because you said you were making it for me," Kya threw a playful punch at Lin's arm.

"Hey!" Lin threw a soft punch back. The two women began to playfully wrestle. After a few minutes of pushing and pulling, Kya ended up in Lin's lap. The chief's arms were wrapped around Kya's waist and back, holding her close. Kya inhaled deeply. She ran her hand over Lin's scars, looking at the strong, beautiful face that was so close to her own. Without speaking, Kya pulled Lin into a deep kiss. Their tongues began dancing together. Lin nipped at Kya's bottom lip, and it was driving her mad, "Lin..." Kya breathed as the earthbender's lips moved to Kya's neck, sucking and kissing.

Lin understood and picked Kya up with ease, carrying her to the bedroom without her lips ever leaving Kya's. She kicked the door open and placed Kya on the bed. Kya wrapped her legs around Lin's waist as she ran her hands across Lin's back, feeling the toned muscles as she went. Lin's hands moved to Kya's hips, then up her sides, and into the waterbenders hair. 

Kya wanted more, she needed more of Lin, "Clothes," she said breathlessly, clawing at Lin's white tank top. Lin pulled away and grabbed the hem of the white material, as she pulled it over her head she said, "Kya... I've never... ya know," her cheeks grew red. Before that moment, Lin had been caught up in the heat of things, but now, she was nervous. 

"It's okay Lin, I'll take the lead," Kya said, pulling Lin down onto the bed. This time Kya was straddling Lin. She slowly pulled off her own blue garments, allowing Lin to see her naked. As Lin watched, her eyes grew wide.

"Wow..." Lin breathed.

"You like what you see?" Kya grinned.

"Hell yes," Sick of waiting, Lin pulled the dress the rest of the way off of Kya and leaned up to meet her lips. Kya wrapped her arms under Lin's and around to the center of her back, with a quick snap, Lin's bra dropped to the floor.  Kya placed her hand on Lin's chest and pushed her back, flat on the bed. Kya worked her lips down from Lin's lips, to her neck, abs, and as she reached the area below Lin's bellybutton, the earthbender gasped. Kya undid Lin's pants and slowly pulled them down, fully revealing Lin. 

Kya worked slowly, she knew how nerve-wracking the first time is. She placed her index finger on Lin's clit, rotating around it in small, slow circles. Lin gasped loudly, "Spirits, Kya."

With that cue of approval, Kya moved her tongue down to the clit. She continued the same motion she was doing with her finger. She used her middle finger to play with Lin's entrance. The chief arched her back in pleasure, causing Kya to remove her tongue and smile. Lin placed her hand on the back of Kya's head, "Don't stop, please."

Kya returned to work. She finally placed her index finger into Lin's core, and Lin's back arched again. Kya moved her finger in a 'come here' motion as her tongue continued to work Lin's clit. She could hear Lin's gasps and moans of pleasure. After a few more strokes, Lin reached her peak, and Kya slowed down and removed her fingers. 

She moved up on the bed and laid her head next to Lin's on the pillow. Lin smiled softly at Kya, "That was some of the best sex I've ever had."

Kya smiled at the compliment, closing her eyes. 

"Guess it's your turn now," Suddenly, Lin was on top of Kya, smiling wide.

"Let's see what you've got, Chief."
