Well, that’s got to change right?”

His words continued to ring in my head even though it was yesterday.

He didn’t tell me what he meant or what the heck he was planning. Yes, I even tried threatening strangle him if he didn’t tell me but it didn’t work.

Change? What’s going to change?

I know it shouldn’t be such a big deal but I knew him well to know he meant what he said. I have to admit, I couldn’t help feeling curious.

The school bell rang bringing me back from my thoughts. School was over for today.

I packed my things into my bag and made my way out of the class. I was stuffing some books in my locker when I noticed some people talking and staring at me openly.

It was Bella, Becca and a random girl I had seen around.

Bella and Becca were identical twins. Blue eyes, blonde wavy hair and slender figures. The only way you could easily tell them apart was the pink streaks Bella had in her hair. Personality wise, they were the opposite of each other. While Bella was a bold, confident and outgoing type, Becca was shy and quiet and often followed in her sister’s shadow.

We were all friends back in middle school. Best friends actually.

At least I thought we were till they went behind my back and spread shitty things about me and my parent’s death.

I was already going through a lot at that point of my life, adding school problems made everything worse.

I was glad I was leaving them behind when I first moved but faith apparently had other plans because a few months later, they had both transferred to my school.

They made middle school living hell for me back in our old town and I didn’t want the same to repeat itself here.

Thankfully, they paid no single attention to me. They were pretty high up the social status so someone like me, who was practically invisible, was easy for them to avoid.

It actually hurt at first....how we could have so much memories and then now, it’s like I don’t exist at all to them.

I don’t care now anyway, I’m a different person from who I was then. I was going to ignore them when Bella flashed me a fake smile.

I returned it to her adding it with a little of my middle finger.

She rolled her eyes flipping her hair and walked away, the girl beside her following suit but not before giving me a disgusted look.

I frowned. What was that about?

Becca picked up her bag and followed them but not before giving me a small glance.

Becca and I were the closest, I still honestly can’t believe she would just turn on me. Anytime I tried to confront her about it, she always avoided looking at my eyes and muttered apologies under her breath.

Pushing the thoughts away, I made my way to the spot where Kristen usually waited for me.

The clouds was getting darker by the minute and the sky rumbled, I was glad I didn’t have to walk through that.

Letting out a sigh, I rubbed my head as I got into the car.

“You Ok?” He asked.

I nodded briefly. “Yeah, just a headache.”

He didn’t look sure but he left it as he drove off.

It was drizzling when Kristen dropped me off at my house.  Dipping my hand into my bag, I searched for my copy of the house keys.
