The Road Trip (Colby Brock)

Chapter 9

( Colby's POV )

I woke up earlier than usual so I decided to bother y/n. Really I just wanted to see her so it was a win win. I banged on her door until I heard footsteps. "Good morning, can I help you?" She was beautiful. Her brown hair still a mess and her brown eyes were a little puffy but she was beautiful. God I hated this. "Downstairs" was all I said before I walked off. "What's your problem?" I heard her yell from down the hallway but I chose to ignore her. After a few seconds I heard her mock me but I just shook my head and laughed.

I went to the garage and found Sam, Jake, and Corey. I sat on my huge bean bag and we sat around for a while. After another thirty minutes went by the garage door opened and a very excited y/n ran in. "Hi guys sorry, SAM is there a PS2 here anywhere?" she asked handing him something. He shook his head laughing and showed my what she handed me. She likes Kingdom Hearts, this just got even worse. "Look Colby, you have a game buddy." I just rolled his eyes and went on my phone. "Who pissed in your cornflakes?" I heard y/n say sounding frustrated. I looked up to her from my phone and then to Sam. "Tell me again why she's here." I really hated this "Could you two stop, please? Colby you're my best friend and she's my sister, could you please try to get along?" he begged so I rolled my eyes again and she left forgetting the game.

Everyone went back inside after a while and Sam and I went to the livingroom. Y/n was asleep on the couch. She looked so peaceful, her face soft and her eyelashes casting small shadows just under her eyes. I needed to stop, I couldn't handle being rude to her so I should just stay away. I really didn't want to. I was about to walk to my room when Sam told me to sit with him. He asked me what we should do for our duo channel once our little break was over but I hadn't thought about it. " I haven't really thought about it brother, maybe something new?" "Yea but what?" "Maybe we could talk about it some other time? I'm starving" "Alright but only because I'm hungry too."

After we ate I went upstairs because it was getting late. I put it on Netflix and tried to fall asleep but I couldn't. It was getting later when I heard someone coming up the stairs and down the hallway. I got up to see who it was but no one was there. I walked further into the hall to see if someone was trying to scare me but the hall was empty. I turned to go back to my room and y/n ran into me...again. She's really clumsy. "What are you doing up this late, go to sleep" I said, she just stood there for a second staring at me. "I'm going on a walk." is all she said before she rushed down the stairs and slipped out the front door. I thought it would be funny to lock her out so I did and ran back up to my room. Not even a minute later I heard a knock on the door but I didn't answer it. Then I heard what sounded like a little pebble hit my window. I waited a few seconds before I opened my window and stuck my head out. "What the fuck do you want? I'm trying to sleep." I said trying to sound annoyed. "Yea cool, can you unlock the front door? I'm locked out." I laughed, stuck my head back in the window with a quick "no" before shutting it. I felt bad because it was cold but I needed her to hate me, and I hated it.
