The Road Trip (Colby Brock)

Chapter 12

I wasn't hungry after what Sam had told us. He was making us go on a road trip...alone... together. For two weeks. Lovely.

( Colby's POV )

A road trip? Really Sam. At least it gives me a chance to try to apologise and explain myself.

( Y/n's POV )

The ride back to the house was quiet with Sam jumping in occasionally to tell us it wouldn't be that bad. He said it would be over before we knew it, and that we might even have fun. Yea right, this guy hates me and I can't tell if I hate him or if I like him. When we got home I went straight to my room and closed the door. We we're leaving tomorrow since it would be Monday so I had to pack. I got a bunch of different outfits because the weather could be anything, I packed a swimsuit, personal hygiene, and other random things I would need. When I finished I went to bed not wanting to see or talk to anyone.

( Colby's POV )

I was nervous and excited. Maybe I could make things right and we could be friends, or more. I shouldn't be afraid to like a girl because of what my fans think. When we got to the house I went to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge before heading back up to my room. Corey stopped me so I turned around "Hey Colbyy" he said acting like a little girl. "Hey Coreyy, whatcha doinn?" "Nothin, just thinkin" "What about?" I was scared to ask because it was Corey but it couldn't be that bad. "If we were the last to people on the Earth and everyone died, we would have to repopulate the world. We would have to kiss." "I guess we would" I said winking and making a kissy face at him. He shook his head laughing and walked away, I laughed as I walked up to my room to start packing. We leave tomorrow so I have to get clothes for two weeks and hygiene products. Once I was done I put on some music and went to bed.

I woke up to Sam poking my face. "Brother wake up, you guys have to leave soon, I already paid for all the rooms and here's some money for gas and food on the road." "Thanks man, but why a road trip? How do I know she won't leave me somewhere?" "Kat thinks she likes you a little bit, I guess in this case you better pray she does." He laughed and went to wake y/n up. Why does Kat think she likes me? Does she talk about me?

( Y/n's POV )

Sam woke me up to tell me he had already paid for everything so we didn't have to worry about money. He said we needed to try to get along. "Heck who knows, maybe you guys will be friends?" "Don't get your hopes up Sammy, he hates me." "If he hated you would he have fixed your bear and apologized?" ok he has a point but he wouldn't have ripped it in the first place. "Get ready, you leave soon. You have a big two weeks ahead of you" and with that he was gone. I needed a shower so I walked to the bathroom between mine and Colby's rooms. We got there at the same time but instead of arguing with me he stepped to the side and let me go first. He went down the other hall and used Sam's bathroom. Now he wants to be nice?
