Katie's pov.
After the play, Travis and I walked over to our friends- Conner, Valentina and Miranda. Once they see us holding hands, Valentina and Miranda start squealing and whispering. Conner smirks at Travis and takes his other hand. "Let's go buddy." Conner tells Travis, pulling him away from me. Travis gives me a sympathetic look and I laugh. "Go, have some guy time." He groans and they walk away. "Did he ask you out yet?? Tell me EVERYTHING!" Valentina tells me. "yes, Katie tell us." Miranda adds. "okay well..." And then I tell them everything that happened yesterday. "Oh my gosh, I ship it!" Val says after I'm done. Miranda smiles at me. "Enough of this stuff, it's Christmas time!" I make a snowball and throw it at Miranda. "hey!" She throws a snowball at Val. She screams. "Hey these are new boots! You are on."
We spend the rest of the morning throwing snowballs at each other, until we're all freezing. We walk to the dining pavilion and get hot chocolates. I sip the warm drink and my body shivers. Suddenly I feel arms hugging me from behind. "hey." A familiar voice says. I turn my head so I can see him. I smile and he takes the hot chocolate from me. "hey!" He takes a drink. "that's good stuff." Travis smirks at me and I roll my eyes. "give me that back." He kisses me first. "here ya go." I take it from him and take a drink. "ugh you made it cold." He gapes. "I did not." I smile at him. "yes you did." "Well if it's so cold give it to me." He smirks and takes it from me again. I roll my eyes and laugh. "Well then I'll have to get a new one." But Val is already ahead of me. "here." she says laughing.
Later that night, Miranda and I are in the Aphrodite cabin. "I have to get him something good!" "I know, I know. I'm thinking." Val tells me. "What if you get him- well no... I've got nothing." Miranda says. I groan and collapse on Val's bunk. "We only have four more days until Christmas." "What's his favorite candy?" Miranda asks me. "M&Ms but I want to get him more than that you know? Something special..."
