Travis's pov.
"Katieee where are we going?" I ask her as we hop into a taxi. She smiles at me. "You'll see." I groan and lay my head back on the seat." Katie hands the driver some money and a fake ID that Chiron gave her. "the nearest bus stop please."
Once we get there, she leads us over to the bus that says, Newark, New Jersey. Katie studies me.
"We don't have to go..." She starts but I manage a smile and say,
"Thanks Kates." I kiss her cheek and we get on the bus.

After roughly two hours of riding a bumpy bus, we arrive.
Katie grabs my hand. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
I smile."A little too late to go back now." I point to an old fashioned ice cream shop across the street. "Let's do some shopping first" I tell her smirking.

"Vanilla please." Katie tells the ice cream shop worker.
"Mint chocolate chip, thanks." We get our ice cream and sit at a wooden booth.
"This is such a cute place!" Katie says, admiring the garden themed decor.
"Mhm." I tell her, my mouth full of cold gelato. She laughs and grabs a colorful flower pot off the shelf, sets it on the table, and places a seed in the empty jar.
"Katie-" In a matter of seconds, a full grown tomato plant pops up and fills the pot. "you." I say, my mouth again full of delicious ice cream, "keep finding ways to amaze me." Katie blushes and hands the plant to a customer walking by.
We go to a couple more stores— clothes stores, book stores, pretty much anything we see. I'm not much of a shopper—I like to take what I see and make a run for it... but when I tried to do that now, Katie caught my ankles with vines that she grew out of the ground, and made me pay for the candy I tried to steal. "Katie... but it's m&ms..." Katie grins at me.
"M&ms that you can pay for. We have money you know." I roll my eyes.
"You're no fun." She laughs and snatches the candy out of my hands. "hey!" I try to grab it from her but she stops me with a kiss.
"You don't need that, we had ice cream like an hour ago!" She giggles and grabs my hand, pulling me out of the candy shop. We sit down on a bench outside the shop and I ask her,
"Well... are you ready to go?" Katie's eyes light up.
"Only if you are."
