"How are you holding up?" Brooklyn asks Nate over the phone
"I'm...you know..." Nate trails off, sighing
"I'm sorry." Brooklyn whispers. "I wish I could be there with you."
"I know why you can't." Nate says. "Wouldn't be safe."
"Yeah." Brooklyn says. "Just...I love you."
"I love you too." Nate tells her. "But I'm not loving this tie...it won't tie."
Brooklyn lets out a small laugh and Nate laughs too
"Well, listen, I gotta go." Nate says. "I'll see you soon maybe?"
"Maybe." Brooklyn responds. "Bye."
Brooklyn hangs up, placing her phone down on the kitchen table. Mona sits across from her, pushing her salad around with her fork and Maddie sits on Brooklyn's lap, chewing on a baby toy
Charlie walks over with a plate of steak
"Now, who wants a nice, juicy steak?" Charlie asks Mona, putting it in front of her
"Charlie, uh, you know that I'm a vegetarian." Mona says
"No, no, no, you used to be a vegetarian when you were a normal, boring human." Charlie says, sitting in the chair next to her. "But now you are--"
"A monster?" Mona asks
"Exactly." Charlie says. "I mean, how cool is that?"
"Wait, are you trying to get me to shift into Wolfie?" Mona asks
"Of course I am." Charlie says. Brooklyn turns her head, listening. "You've been moping about the ship, thinking about your lost love. But I think that he would really want you to just embrace your wild side."
"Konane liked me as Mona." Mona whispers
"Whoa." Charlie says, pointing at Mona's shirt and the words disappear. "The words on your shirt."
"These are the names of my favorite Jane Austen characters." Mona says
"It appears that you're experiencing the impact of a magical fugitive." Gideon announces
"Oh." Mona and Charlie whisper
"Damn it." Brooklyn mutters
Mona contacts Sara through the comms
"This better be good, Mona." Sara says
"A fugitive got to Jane Austen." Mona says. "She never wrote Sense and Sensibility. And Pride and Prejudice disappeared, too."
"Whatever it is, it's gonna have to wait." Sara says
"Did someone say history's in trouble?" Ray asks. "Legends assemble!"
"Okay, I really need to get out of here, too." Zari's voice says
The comms click off

Sara, Ray, and Zari walk onto the bridge where Mona, Charlie, and Brooklyn holding Maddie were assembled
