Missy strolled around the school's rather large campus in her usual manner. Her magenta eyes scanned the high school's grounds in slight boredom. She checked the watch on her wrist.

10:39 AM.

She still had time.

She went to go sit by a tree, letting the cool shade relax her after being exposed to the town's usually harsh early fall heat. She let her gaze trail around the grassy terrain that surrounded the large school. Trees and benches were clustered all about, making the large area look less empty. Students were laughing, conversing amongst themselves, eating their lunches, catching up on homework. You know, the usual.

Missy sighed. She had always been seen as someone who would be popular. While many people admired her, she was also... feared. She has had records, sure. She's only been arrested for minor things, and luckily those were the only things she got caught for. Missy, otherwise, was very talented at concealing her true intentions. She was charming, had good looks, made conversation easily, and most importantly was very trustworthy. All those records of violence and small criminal activity could almost easily be forgotten after having some small talk with her.

Missy smiled to herself at the thought, leaning back against the tree trunk in a relaxed manner. Her expression also always seemed to be kind and caring, but she was putting on a mask.
It was her tactic, she needed to do her job and do it well.

Suddenly, Missy's eyes shot open as some all too familiar chatter could be heard in the distance. After catching the recognizable hair colors and frames, she couldn't help but let a strange smile pull at her lips.

There they were, her next targets.

Really, she had to go for the short blonde one that seemed to have a very short temper. Her now deceased father had loads of money, and since she was the only immediate family left, she inherited it. But, her father was quite fond of the rest of her friend group as well, leaving them as people of interest.

Missy guessed and assumed that Faelyn's other friends had some inheritance as well, they just didn't know it... well.... yet. Missy hummed to herself, watching with an intrigued expression as Kay energetically bounced around her friends. Faelyn angrily screeched at Kara, who was dangling a bag of chips above her. Her magenta eyes then turned to Mimi, who was laughing and gossiping with Allie, and finally to Theo, who seemed to watch his close friends with a fond smile.

Missy understood that Theo was rather overprotective of the females he saw as his little sisters. But, that wouldn't be an obstacle... it shouldn't be. However, Missy had some doubt tugging at the back of her mind, she felt a strange.... change occurring. Something was different, and something was definitely different about this friend group.

Missy wasn't really the spiritual or religious type, but there was one thing she definitely couldn't doubt at all. The supposed gods and goddesses in charge up there were surely bringing on a big change, and that change involved that small group. See, in Machina City, the popular religion was more of a newly widespread thing. Different spirits, gods, and goddesses were in charge of different tasks in their world. But there was one thing they all shared.... the power to grant powerful abilities to mortals.

Missy scoffed in amusement, there was no way that was real. Sure, it was a popular religion, and sure there was proof of people having strange abilities. But, there was another reason for those strange abilities, one not everyone knew about. Missy smiled in that strange manner again.

    "Missy?! Hellooooo? Earth to Missy?"

The female snapped back into the disappointing reality of an all too familiar face in front of her. A girl with a pecan tanned tone and short, chin length dark brown hair was at a close proximity of her face. The female was snapping her fingers in front of Missy's peripheral vision, attempting to gain back the attention of the daydreaming girl. Missy sighed.
