At first the brothers didn't believe me that their father would come back but after Ivar continuously pressured them to go home we packed up and began our journey back to Kattegat. I kept quiet over what I saw since this just wasn't possible. He's a cripple and infertile, besides that he will never be a King since he's the youngest of Ragnar's children. Oh and of course he would never marry, especially not me. Well not any woman since he's the complete opposite of caring, loving or gentle. Everything a woman would seek in a man. During the ride they made sure I had enough breaks, but I always assured them I'm fine since im scared that their kindness is limited.

Arriving in Kattegat was different now. They made sure I didn't carry to much and ordered me to go on my room without hesitation. With my small bag I slowly creep to my room stabilising myself on the walls. When I get in there it's completely empty, no sign of Selene.

I still feel quite weak and the ride didn't make me feel any better so I decided to lay down for a bit.

The brothers are still waiting for their father to come but I feel like it's only a matter of time before he will be here. Im worried about what the future is going to bring us, and how much of my vision was going to become reality
As I lay down I can already feel the tiredness pulling at me and so I quickly drift to sleep.

I'm woken up by plates crashing on the floor. I sit up straight instantly regretting it cause of my wound. Selene stands in front of me with food scattered all around her.

"God you look horrible, what happend?" she asks in greek quickly walking over me to touch my cheek.

"You're so cold." she comments instantly walking to the fireplace.

"Is he here, I mean was he already-"

"No prince Ivar wasn't here." she says as she lights the fire which I forgot to do.

"I wasn't talking about him... it's the King... he's coming Selene. I saw it, he is on his way." I mumble throwing the blankets off me. I felt like I was freezing but ignored it starting to clean up the mess that happened.

"Yeah he was here... he made a huge scene,
I think he's insane. "she mumbles as she throws more wood into the flames.

"Where is he now?" I ask happily. So I was right, he was coming. But then the realisation hit me. What if everything else I saw was true as well? This can't be, this shouldn't be, ever.

"He and his sons went to into the woods to talk a while ago. They should be back soon."
I just nod walking to the fire to warm myself.

"It's been quite lonely without you here." she says walking to me sitting right beside me.

"I'm sorry but Ivar wanted me to come with them." I say holding my hands near the flames.

"You should take a bath."
she remarks shoving me slightly.

"Yeah I know." I mumble looking down at my bloody and dirty clothes.

"Ok I'll leave you then. Should I bring you new food since I accidentally ruined it?" she asks standing up.

"You're a slave of them not of me. I can get me food if I'm hungry."
I say as I start to prepare the water.
