Fool me once, fool me twice
Are you death or paradise?
Now you'll never see me cry
There's just no time to die

...

We've been sailing for weeks or maybe months now. It's been a rough time, harsh storms and times of food shortage made it even rougher. Day after day dreams became more vivid, visions I would kill to find out if they were true. Just a few days after my vision about Ivars death I found myself right in front of a big hole filled with snakes, before that I saw Kattegat in flames. I'm uncertain what these mean since no ghost has visited me yet but I know that more blood will flow.

As I found out, Selene never joined us, some saw her on the docks as the boats where leaving. It saddend me knowing that we probably won't see each other again but she decided her own faith in the end.

We now have Rollo, the brother of Ragnar Lothbrok sailing with us. Especially Floki told me to stay away from him, since he is a traitor. Since I've grown quite close with Helga, Floki and Hvisterk I choose to follow their advice. Floki and me have been talking about every vision, every dream I've had. He's a man of the gods, he truly believes in them which sometimes gets in our ways but nevertheless he is quite helpful in reading the visions.

Just like Ivar, my dear, mad and insane Ivar he believes it's a gift from the gods. I would have hoped that at least his ghost would come for me, even if it's just to seek revenge, but a small part of me has hope that this just means hes alive.

We've been sailing in a sea of fog for quite some time now. We should be near Spain now but we can't be sure if we don't even see our hand in front of our own face. As the fog clears up I start to see big cliffs of yellow and orange stone, a sign that we are near.

I march towards the head of the boat where Hvisterk is talking with Bjorn.

"What will they think, the people there?" Hvisterk asks as he looks over the first sign of land in forever.

"I don't know, that's why we brought Hella." Bjorn answers nudging my arm.

"They'll be terrified of course. They have never seen people like you." I answer sitting on the railing of the boat.

"You mean us." he answers leaning his elbows on the railing beside me.

"No, I speak their language and know their culture. Why would they fear me?" I answer looking at him in confusion.

"You may know their words but at the end of the day they still see a viking in you. They don't care who your father was."

I say nothing more his words travelling through my mind. I mean I did change more. The thick clothing and skins draped over my body, the braids Hvisterk taught me to do and the black paint around my eyes like Flokis and Helgas make me look like nothing special, like I'm one of them.

Hours later we're finally on their docks.
People draw their swords as we jump from the boats. Music fills the air and the smell of sweet pastries.

"Bjorn?" I ask squeezing myself through the crowds to get in front.

"Put the weapons away! You'll scare them!"
I yell over the war screams of these bloodthirsty men.

But he doesn't hear me. As we walk towards the centre of the city we hear terrified screams and suddenly the first swords and axes hit the people.

"BJORN! YOU SAID WE AREN'T HERE FOR VIOLENCE!" I scream shocked trying to get his attention. I stand there frozen looking over the terrified people who run into their houses and temples.
Why were they doing that when he promised me that this wasnt a raid?

Suddenly I see Hvisterk fighting with one of the man struggling to protect himself. I run over to him and tackle the man to the floor before I bash his throat with my long dagger. I didn't got to learn how to fight with anything else but my fists, a knife or a bow.

"Hvisterk what are you all doing?!" I scream feeling the blood of the man trickle down my cheek. Whatever is just happening I won't let my friends die because of it.

"Hella we are Vikings. You really think this would go any different?" He asks out of breath as he walks away again.

I fall to my knees as I look around in trance. This can't be real, this isn't what I came here for! How could he betray me so badly without me even noticing a thing? How could I be this stupid?

"Hella my dear stand up I need your help!" Helga suddenly says. As I look up she's right in front of me holding my cheeks.
I just nod and follow her not thinking a second about it.

I follow her to a golden door and just by holding my hand towards it, they both collaps in a loud bang and she looks at me with wide eyes. Maybe it's the anger and frustration but my powers are stronger than ever.

As we're inside others join us but I completely ignore them walking right beside Helga. Like a maniac she runs around, like shes looking for something.

"Helga speak to me, what are you looking for?" I ask as my voice echoes in these big halls but she doesn't answer till she finds a little girl hiding.

"Don't be afraid, please don't be afraid." she whimpers looking at the crying girl.

"I'm Helena." I say to the girl in her language, the mother tongue of August.

"Do not fear us, as long as you're with Helga and me you're safe." I assure her as she wipes her eyes.

We walk back out with the child and see everything scattered around as the food, wine and treasures are being taken.

I leave Helga with the girl and walk towards the dock seeing Hvisterk and Bjorn coming with their uncle and two other men.

They go directly into the boat singing some songs and laughing. Well everyone except Hvisterk.

I touch his arm to get his attention when flashing images appear in front of me.
I gasp in shock and rip my hand away from him tumbling. He hold me so I dont fall and looks at me concerned.

"YOU MONSTER HOW COULD YOU? YOU RAPED SOMEONE!" I scream trying to get my hand off him. A few people look at us but Floki comes towards us, his Eyebrows shooting up.

"Relax it's what we do." Hvisterk says seeing no problem in all of this.

"I thought you were here for the people, for the unknown but all you do is act like monsters!"I spit out in rage feeling my body shake.

He wants to start again but is stopped by a flash of power coming out of my hand, throwing him metres away.

"Don't ever!" I spit out feeling shaken by power as the people look at me in shock.
This is most definitely new to me.
